that was one of problems for samuel at real...he could perform as bad as he can but he would play next game, there was no one to replace him...now, he must work and play hard every game... because of matrix

I don't think so Marti, Samuel will be no.1 and he knows it. There is no way that he moved himself and his family back to Italy, when he said he will never come back again, to compete for a place.
Samuel will start no matter struggle or succed. It's up to Materazzi, his experience will be needed on the bench, but if he goes, there are other average CD's that are available.

With us signing Samuel I'm hoping that Materazzi stays around and does what he says. He will definately have to fight for his spot if he wants to stay a starter. That only means better performances and more consistent action. Definatley a plus to have. I think we should keep him, and hopefully if Burdisso comes back we are all set at the back.

it was great, wasnt it.
he looked more comfortable than Samuel did. Walter looked poor against Napoli and was not strong enoguh to take theguy off the ball for the first goal.
