Yeah I kind of agree with this, although I'm slightly torn. I think as the coach he should do whatever he sees fit and if that means not calling up a player so be it. However, I think if you're going to not call up a player you have to at least have the discussion with him and tell him why.

Yea, as Adnan said, I'm sure FDB has already told Brozovic why he's been left out. There is nonway FDB would just not call him up and not say why.

FDB is sending a clear message to everyone that whoever fucks up doesn't get called up the next match. You can't just punish and not mention the reason. The punishment is for the player to learn and not repeat his mistake. Without telling him the reason, how would he know what was his mistake and not to repeat it?
