Safe to say this EL run has shown us that we need to upgrade on him. Simply not good enough for the highest levels, but if he’s good to stay for a rotation role then that’ll be great.

I'll always love Brozo but I don't understand the love he gets here by some people. He's a solid midfielder however he is extremely limited and often times plays terrible in big games. And his off the field problems are also a big issue. It's time for us to part ways or find a role for him on the bench. He's not good enough for where we want to be.

Pretty much. And I believe this is the root of the "Eriksen case". Brozo could play in a 2 man pivot only alongside a strong DM, who could cover his ass. We don't have such a player in our team. Conte tried to play Brozo along 2 B2B midfielders, the same way he played Pirlo alongside Pogba and Vidal at Juventus. In this case there is no room for Eriksen.

I really hope they sell him. Too good of a player to play in this moronic club and to be a scapegoat for these stupid fans. Brilliant game from him. Not his fault rest of the team are not on his level. Plus, this coach is a moron.

 Falcao law to its fullest, come on, Brozo was awful. He wouldn't be doing anything better at any other big club.

I'm keep repeating that Brozo is a liability against quality teams and Inter should sell him if receive 50+ mln offer. If not, he is still okish against mid-table clubs but we need a better player for real games.

He's not a player who starts every game for a championship winning team. He's pretty much useless in the final third and isn't defensively strong enough to hold a midfield together. It's great that he can help us build out from the back, but sometimes that isn't enough.

Sounds like Pirlo

too weak, too soft and also useless in the attacking part. He runs a lot and waves his hands everytime he sees something wrong. I'd miss his set pieces which are pretty solid, but i'd rather get 50M and say bye bye.

Exchanging him with someone like Kante would be huge and very important for our team's growth

This is some insane bandwagoning. Name me a player who actually played well last night? I'll wait. Lukaku for a nice penalty? Godin for the header?

In case some of you didn't notice, the entire team was SHIT last night. From top to bottom, shit. None of them turned up. Our overall shape and our compactness as a team were very, very poor as was our midfield as a unit. I don't Brozovic was any better or worse than Gagliardini or Barella (the new darling of the team who can do no wrong).

The single most disappointing thing about this game was that we didn't rise to the occasion even slightly. Brozovic is certainly a part of that but acting like he's the catalyst or key culprit is just ludicrous. From our perspective, we played it like a standard Serie A match. That is 90% of the reason we lost. This was no different to our draws against Lecce, Verona or Cagliari, or our losses against juve. Just another typical dipshit, turgid, low-energy performance. The Brozovic theory is just laughable when from Conte to Berni, the entire squad was mismanaged and underwhelming.

Lmao.. Brozovic was a starter and important part of a team that made it to the world cup final, yet people think that he's the problem.

Y'all are clowns

The midfield is literally 3 players and has no cohesion at all. Just run run run run. And then you have Gagliardini right next to him who can't reliably make a basic pass. Put better players around him and he and the team will play better.

It should be of no surprise that Brozovic had his best season for us when we had Rafinha and had a coach who was interested in using a player that was capable of passing the ball.

Brozovic game is fine, last 4 games he did very well with gagliardini, and for the most part had a very good season.

His only problem is that he's a bitch.

Don't have one.

Yep and this is why I think we need another revolution and not evolution like some here think. I'm talking in context of winning with some sort of continuity, not a fluke one year scuddetto win if juve collapses next season, which this team can accomplish even as it stands right now. But if we want to create winning dynasty like we did in early 00 which culminated in our treble win we can't be talking about our best players, and brozo certainly represents that in this team, looking out of depth in major final.

Brozo always sucks when we play against teams with good high press. He needs few touches on the ball before distributes it and to pick a teammate for pass. That requires a time, which he doesn't have when is under intense pressing. Gagliardini is even worst and only Barella can hold the ball and even beats his man when is pressed hard. When add DD and Young, who also struggle in that matter, it's clear why we suffered so much and trying more long balls to LaLu. Nyall mentioned Rafinha. I add Sensi, Cancelo, Hakimi (I hope so) - all are technical players who can beat their personal guard and thus create good attacking chance. We lack those kind of players in big games. In big matches the quality players make the difference not so the tactics.
Universe has point that Brozo is part of the problem and due to that if we have a chance to cash in on him and buy a better player, we shall do it. That also applies to Gags, vecino etc., even though their value is much less.

It will take 2-3 games for Tonali to show how useless of a player Brozovic is.

I fully get what you're saying but in these tough games I absolutely hate his attitude. He made so many mistakes and throws his arms around etc, all our usual complaints. He looks so deflated and defeated already. We need a midfield leader and its just not this guy. Someone who is willing to get stuck in, fight to the end and drive his team forward. Whereas this guy just looks like he folds at the first sign of pressure.

Gagliarini was shocking as usual, the whole team at certain points weren't good, i thought him and Barella did ok considering that they had to defend and try and hold possession, which Inter had about 50% of against a team like Sevilla who are always looking to hold possession. I cant blame him or Barella at any point in general when they are basically without a 3rd midfielder and recently a makeshift defender operating as an "attacking" wingback.

This has been my impression of Brozovic since day one. I'm not saying he hasn't been great for Inter. He has. But Inter's level has been so low past 10 years. Next step for Inter should be to have better players than him in the starting lineup.

I also feel there is no market for him, at least not this mercato. Or at least not at the valuation which would make any sense for Inter to consider selling. He's definitely staying next season, but I'd look for a replacement next summer if we can't sign one this mercato.

I didn't watch a lot of games of Croata when they played the WC but I can't remember him being like this when playing besides Modric and Rakitic. Brozovic is now a long servant of the club, is important and even was named captain when Handanovic was injured so it seems that he just doesn't take shit from the midfielders at Inter. Rakitic and Modric would propably murder him verbally if he does this shit to them.

Continual improvement. Ideally we should be replacing 2 bench and 1.5 starter players every year imho. It effectively means an average player lifetime of like seven years at inter which would be a great thing for us.
