It’s a non issue. Things like this happen all the time. But if we gonna play this game, then Lukaku needs to STFU and earn some stripes before he can talk shit to anyone else on the team.

It depends how the conversation went and if Lukaku signaled out everyone, or specific players or everyone, also if he included himself or not wether he said "we" its different than say "you". Also the reports are taking about bravery, some players will take offense to that if ur taking about character and not footballing performance. How is he not supposed to take it personal if Lukaku is attacking them / him personally?

K.I., I agree with you. If it was said in the sense of "we" as a team then I do not have any problem with and neither should Brozovic. However, if Lukaku was singling out players that is another thing altogether.

InterFCAustin, I do not agree with your post. The fact that Lukaku just arrived at Inter should not make any difference. What you are essentially saying is that Lukaku does not have any standing in the squad because he only just got here and he should simply shut his mouth and play football. Given that the games are coming thick and fast with little time to train in between, players need to work through and learn on the on the pitch during games rather than in training.

There is nothing wrong with a player trying to direct and explain the best way to serve him and thus help the team. Lukaku (or any other squad member) staying quiet does not help the players learn about how all of the parts of the machine play and work together to contribute as a whole.

He can tell players whatever he feels performance wise but in that conversation he also has to acknowledge what he is doing and how he himself can help the other players and midfielders. I also think the coach would have more input than players at this point because its still a work in progress, you can converse with each other when you have played a good number of games and positives and negatives have been established, where is ur criticism going 2 or 3 games in?

@Puma,
Ok, yes, maybe the timing of arrival it’s irrelevant when someone is OBVIOUSLY fucking up big time. But like K.I said, we don’t know the language that was used, therefore, if we gonna judge from how they performed, Lukaku should be one of the last ones to open his mouth and critique other players performances. Guy has been sucking balls two games in a row.
Anyways, let’s move on. It’s a non issue.

I believe i wrote some time ago that Brozovic appears to be really great for us simply because he stands out so much in our midfield. Now with the short term Sensi craze and occasional throwings-arms-around performance from Brozovic, I'm back to being totally OK with selling him for the right amount. He is really good, no one should question that, but he still can't sort himself out and delivery week in week out without sudden and complete drops of quality every now and then. I don't think that is going to sit well with Conte either.

Breaking news: Lukaku hires Wanda Nara as agent, and wife too.

My buddy who’s a die-hard United fan always cursing that we didn’t include Brozo in the Lukaku deal :troll:

his passing today was impeccable, especially when he switches the field

Brozo's passing range and accuracy one of the best I have seen.

Good performance. Just wish he doesn't stand next to Sensi for all free kicks and corners. Instead stay near the edge to get a shot if the ball drops there.

Standing beside the designated taker also unnecessarily adds pressure on them.

Much better than his last 2 games. This is the Brozo we know and love. Switching play like a boss and dictating the tempo in the middle. None of this lunging into dreadful tackles and throwing his hands up in objection and proceeding to play like a knob.

Milan did a fantastic job of giving Brozovic tons of space to dictate play. Big kudos to them. He used that space perfectly to put in a top performance.

Still needs to be sharper and more disciplined in matches where there's less room and more pressure / closing down.

Marcelo Brozovic is the only midfielder in Serie A to have scored in all the last six seasons.

I think he's still confused that now he has to play in front of 3 CBs.. well actually 1 CB (de vrij), as the other CBs are usually far wide when we have the ball. Especially when the opponents are giving more pressure.

Previously, with 4 man defense, he has 2 CBs to exchange passes and set him free.

I think this is why we see him switch the play up so much and spread the ball out wide. Him and Sensi have done a great job of moving the ball around but I wish our wingbacks were scarier and more troubling to opposing teams so they don't crowd the middle so much.

Hopefully we can win a game by a blowout soon and give him time to rest with a sub, he's been running around quite a bit for a long time and I'm not sure how long his legs can hold out.

Not to downplay Sensi, he is a very good signing and therefoe i understand the hype, but to be honest i think Brozovic was MotM yesterday. Sensi a 7, Brozo an 8.
