I don’t know, nobody cares how we played well and actually in upperhand against Pep’s City but they remember their treble, well, oiled/sport washing treble or whatever. But for me I would cherish this because I don’t know how and when we have it again for long time and I can share my feeling with my family, my kids.
Good choice of words.

So much negativity in here Imho we played a great fucken game considering the opposiion who looked better vs city when it mattered then us?

Yes it s disappointing that we could not convert any of the chances but overall i cant help but feel proud of our guys we played way better than anybody expected.
Some people won't give credit for not letting Man City play their game, it's always that Man city fucked up on their own instead of us making them fuck up

I dunno if it was missed, but for me, the disappointment is that we could have done better. Different decisions - predictable ones - could have been made by inzaghi..different subs, different starters. The defensive plan was fine. The midfield was unbelievably bad.

I mentally expected us to lose this game just because of the quality difference. The result is fine, but this was actually there for the taking. And it's not just Inzaghi to be clear before I get labelled as a hater. It's barella, Hakan, Dumfries, Lautaro. These are all guys who should have stepped up more.

On the bright side Onana and Bastoni really showed this was the right level for them

Can't believe people are shitting on Inzaghi and believing starting Rom would have changed things.

They took us to a CL final, already against all odds, matched up vs a team 50 times our worth. And still managed to make it come down to one FIFA goal instead of getting steamrolled. What the hell more did you expect??? We are not oil money, we are broke as fuck. Back to reality boys.

Proud of the team, gave us a CL final with a bunch of old men.

In my opinion, City did not "win", rather: we lost, because of us. Same as last year. ACM "won" because we let them win. But, in overall, I am satisfied with this year. Thank you guys for many good games you played this season. Now, take a rest and prepare for next year.

Losing always hurts, whatever way it is. But we fought well and small details decided the game.
many here said we would have no chance, they would destroy us... i almost wish it was this, at least i could have said that we anyway had no chance. Its sad, so many good chances, just wasted like idiots. We made a good game but you have to take the chances. At the first good chance from Lautaro where he did not pass, i knew how this game would end.

i swear this is like argentina germany from 2014. It will be hard to forget honestly....

Yes. I don't think that's entirely unreasonable, but I think based on what we saw tonight, which was nothing for dzeko from 55min, expecting lukaku to at least do a bit more if he'd started is not unfair?
Dzeko contributed defensively. Look at their goal and Lukaku being a lazy fuck after being on the pitch for 10 minutes.

I cried when the game ended. I am crying right now as I am writing this. That’s how much I love Inter. I love all these players and Inzaghi. I am incredibly proud of them because they put an enormous effort. Inzaghi is not a pussy and has big balls. These players are all fighters too. Forever Nerazzurri. Forza Inter! Looking forward to watch them next season. Love you all too❤️😭

I don't agree with Lautaro for now as disappointed as I am in him, but I do agree on dzeko and lukaku..whether you like lukaku or not I don't think, after EL and CL, this will be the environment for him to thrive.
I know he is like hard-working but it's not enough. He doesn't use his brain. We need a deadly finisher and if we had one, we could've ended up with a sweet ucl trophy.
I'm so mad at him 😡 what a idiot !

I'll re write up my views in the morning when sober.

In the macroscopic l if you'd told me a close CL final, and 3rd place at the start of the season we would all have 100% taken it.

Proud of the journey, though could be prouder of the evening.

Good night all.

We could have won… this hurts
I'm really disappointed and it really hurts! What a performance!
We could've won easily if Lukaku, Martinez and Dimarco were only a little smarter and weren't reckless 😡
We really deserved win .

I can’t even move… it’s crazy that all over social media people are praising us and are saying that we should have won it

I will end posting on here with one sentence: Brave soldiers lost the battle because of a coward general. Good night everyone
Nah man he was brave. He decided to go toe to toe and pressed them, which surprised them (which is a good general's trait if you read history) and pinned them back for a good amount of time. Sadly, we have limitations in our squad that tonight couldn't be hidden by good tactics. The players fought hard but no one stepped up upfront. That goes for both Lukaku and Lauti. Our midfielders, from which I expected the most, failed big time.

Ok, after I calmed myself a little bit. I don`t want to be rude, because you usually are one of the most resonable posters here.

Lukaku had more chances that Dzeko. Obviously. But I understand Inzaghi`s decision to bring Lukaku after 60m because he is a big body and could wrestle with their defenders. You cannot know if he would have had the same oppotunities after one hour of running on the pitch. This is the monday quarterback syndrome. At the end of the day Inzaghi had no other options. Lautaro after so many years fall after the minimum contact and Dzeko/Lukaku are trash from different reasons.
What other different substitutions/starters? Or whole roster (I mean the players who are not an embarrassment) are the starters plus Lukaku, Mikhi and Gosens. That`s all. We have no other players. I hope you don`t suggest Gags or Correa? Mikhi came after the injury with little preparations. I could understand Inzaghi here.

Sorry bro, but with this roster to play the fucking CL final head to head with the City of all the oil`money, I cannot be too mad.
This is the 2nd most important game in our life as Inter suppporters. As simple as that. None of us was born in the `60. We were up to the task but we lost. And it hurts.

I mean only one who showed heart today was Dimarco dude bleeds black and blue.

Really comes down to we have 0 options on the bench.

While not starting lukaku was a mistake so was putting him on. He blocked the tying goal.

We are worth like 1/10th of city roster wise and we held our own. Lost by a great goal.

Once D’Ambrosio came on and Bastoni left I was like ok they are going to score 10 on us.

Man that 95th minute corner what could have been.

Wasn’t our time hopefully we don’t renew Lukaku, de Vrij, Dzeko, Gags, D’ambrosio

Bastoni also. But he was gassed after 60 minutes.

He was making LWB type runs

It should have been stop doing that shit instead of bringing in fking D’ambrosio
