This whole agent going to England is a cover up. I don’t doubt that this guy will be replacing candreva. He’s going to be our new starting RW and will make us all proud!

Yeah, but it's Aubameyang, one of the best forwards in the game. I'm sure Arsenal were able to look past the fact that he missed a couple of training sessions and team dinners.

Malcom on the other hand is a nobody as of now. I don't know why or if even Arsenal stopped following him. But he's unproven, comes with a steep price tag of 50m AND light signs of stupidity. Those could be reasons why Arsenal don't want him no more.

That being said, I'm quite impressed by his abilities after watching a couple of youtube clips. And comparisons to Gabigol are silly, this guy is obviously a step or two above him.

Never heard of Malcom's attitude problems being an issue re: Arsenal's pursuit of him. Ultimately, they were scared off by Malcom's price tag and his lack of experience (according to the most reliable Arsenal reporter David Ornstein) and moved on. I have seen the Guardian article about Malcom's attitude problems (https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...toulalan-bordeaux-gourvennec-malcom-gus-poyet), but who knows how much it factored into Arsenal dropping their interest. It was probably just lack of funds, the money that would've gone into buying him went to buying Aubameyang.

I do like Malcom a lot, he would be an great signing for Inter.

I've never seen him play, meaning that I've never seen a game in which Malcom played, but there's one thing I can already tell focusing on the first seconds of his YouTube highlights video: his moustache is on point.

Obviously we are not at the flamboyant and iconic level of Vampeta, whose moustache, despite being appreciated by many (football fans and not, of any kind), was criminally misunderstood by Tardelli back in the day (together with his vintage and slow tempo skills on the pitch)... but it's still a remarkable moustache.

Will watch the rest of the highlights when rumours and negotation restart in July.
Meanwhile, I'll focus on a half dozen compilations of Srna to remember his solid and underrated career (I blame his agent and Di Marzio - as accomplice - for this unnecessary duty)

Bordeaux reject opening offer for winger Malcom from Inter Milan

RMC are reporting that Bordeaux have rejected an opening offer from Inter Milan for their winger Malcom.

The €40m + bid did not meet the requirements of Les Girondins, not because of the fee, but because of the payment structure offered by the Italians – the situation is at a standstill.

Well obviously we don't want to blow 40m€ on one player in one summer. Or at least player like Malcolm who's still uncertainty at Serie A.

Exclusive: Inter, Malcom negotiations still alive

Inter continue to work hard on the transfer market, even though FFP restrictions are forcing them to wait until July before making their moves.

Nevertheless, in recent weeks, sporting director Piero Ausilio has had many meetings with clubs and players. One of Ausilio's missions targets is to reinforce the right wing, with Malcom being one of his primary targets. Ausilio met with Bordeaux to discuss a possible deal, however, negotiations haven't accelerated the way Inter would've hoped.

The French side want around €40m for their Brazilian and Inter are willing to pay this amount, albeit through a paid loan with a buy-out clause. For this reason, the negotiations have slowed down, although they haven't stopped completely.

In fact, as told by the intermediary Federico Pastorello to Calciomercato.com: "For Malcom it's not done, we continue to work".

I want Fede Chiesa not this guy...but then I don't even know this guy...which makes it weird...however it's clear Chiesa knows the league and this guy doesn't...paying what 20/ 30mil more for Chiesa?! Hm...tough call here...

however

Icardi/Martinez
Perisic-Nainggolan-Chiesa
Dembele-Brozo

:fap::fap::fap:

sell Candreva and get Politano too and keep Karaboy as back ups?!

Perisic and the new RW will need back ups...for sure

Meh he seems to be an unknown quantity, yes, he has an amazing shot but 40 million, really? I think it's too much of a risk.

I seriously wonder why everyone hypes chiesa? He’s ok, I wouldn’t pay more than 30 for him. He’s never been a player that you can say damn he dominated that match. He’s just not worth the price tag or the trouble. Malcom is creative, can be selfish in a good way and Can demand more defenders leaving other players open. To me he seems like the logical choice over chiesa.

Chiesa better suits our playing style. Our attack plan is to spoon Icardi chances, and then have wingers take advantage of opportunities as they arise. Malcolm appears to be a selfish player, which won't gel well. I can already see Icardi telling him off for taking shots instead of passing to him.

Lautaro hasn't even touched Europe ground yet, and we bought him for about 25M plus 10% of his future transfer fee. So 40M for Malcom seems a fair price for me.

So if we sign Malcom he'll take up our last Non-EU spot, right?
