I'm actually surprised at this level of negativity for Spalletti. Doesn't this guy consistently kick our asses? A little ridiculous to turn around and say we're too good for him  I'm fairly certain we'll get CL with him given that we sort the defence out over the summer.

He'll get a CL spot probably. And that is what our goal should be for next season. Not sure why people are complaining so much.

let's sign him and be operative as soon as possible, because while our managers are just scratching their testicles like apes, milan have already secured rodriguez and kessie and are close to morata. just saying.

If Spalletti brings Nainggolan I'll run around the streets naked.

Careful. Even skinny dipping is illegal in Malta. I can't imagine streaking in celebration of your favourite team signing Nainggolan is allowed.

Its pretty sad. We are essentially employing a coach whose highest honour is winning the Coppa Italia.

Conte also was a nobody when he came to Juve. Mancini also only won Coppa Italia when he came to Inter. There are many examples i can make. I also wanted Conte or Simeone but the truth is that nobody can get them. If Conte or Simeone wants to leave i think there might be a good chance to get them (specialy Conte).

Spaletti is anyway much better then other alternatives like Jardim or Emery.

Roma fans hung a banner at Trigoria asking him to stay.

People are complaining because they were expecting Simeone or Conte. Spalletti is a good coach, but he is not that level. He is also a very different type of coach, so if he fails then getting Simeone or Conte will be a big shift in direction i.e. another fucking year zero.

I think fans have a right to complain. Inter are run like a shit show.

DiFrancesco is a good coach but let's not forget he was sacked by Sass at one point and his team kind of crumbled this year. I know Europe can hurt teams like that but they had a really tough season once Berardi went down.

Just wondering why do you rate Di Francesco higher? SpalettI has done quite well at Roma and I think if they win the next game this will be their highest ever points total.

I agree with the first part. The second part I disagree. We are an absolute mess right now with no philosophy whatsoever. Based on our current squad the attacking department at least has quality (comparing to DD-M-M-Naga defense ), so it makes sense to build our focal point from there with Spalletti, reinforce slowly the defense.

If we change coach again next year for Conte/Simeone, yes it is a change in direction. But why should we make that change at first place? We should choose ONE strategy and build on what we POSSIBLY have, instead of bubble hopes. I am tired of hearing Simeone promises coming EVERY year then his rejection EVERY year. His contract ends next year does not assure he will come to Inter, he would come to P$G.

Currently the best coach available for us is Spaghetti, please get him and talk about next coach at least AFTER the Spalletti contract.

CdS already wrote that Luciano wants to put a halt to the Croatian duo sales...

Yeah ok but they need to play more with their mind at it than now...if they will stay

Spalletti also has more points right now (84) than Inter had at the end of treble winning season (82).

It will be a long summer to start with.

Let me share today's aphorism, strictly related to the transfer market.

"Strong men, strong destinies. Weak men, weak destinies. There is no other way".

- Master Luciano

And let me spoiler tomorrow's aphorism: "Luck is an attitude"

- Walter Sabatini (written on the wall of his Trigoria office, featuring Marlboro Reds, Gaviscon tablets, Berlucchi wine and Wyscout software)

You have to admit that the quality of defense in Serie A has gone down since then.

Not just the defence the whole quality of the league dropped since Rube are unopposed for 6 years! Roma and Napoli don't have the money to rly compete...we and Bbilan be incompetent as fuck.
Only Rube are a quality team that can fuck a Barca or god forbid Real...

I generally have a hard on for young coaches like Di Francesco, he plays a style i like, has done well with players i like and hasnt spent much

But for Sassuolo to be in Europe in the first place is something isnt it? No one knows shit about this team 3-4 years ago. They have shit players. But yeah wouldnt rate him higher than Spaletti, would really like him to see at Roma.

Awesome, both are good players if managed correctly. But we need Perisic's money, 60m is a lot.
