1) Spalletti’s contract runs out at the end of the season. Thus, there is no extra payments needed such as compensation to free him unlike with other targets.

2) He has Serie A experience and is not a shot in the dark like Frank de Boer was.

3) He offers tactical flexibility, something Suning deem as crucial in modern football.

4) He has averaged 2.32 points in the last year and a half in Serie A, a figure that would comfortably see the Nerazzurri in the Champions League for the season after next.

Moreover, they recall when Massimo Moratti was in charge and shortlisted Spalletti before choosing Rafa Benitez, something they say emphasises the different thought processes of Moratti and Suning.

Why do you say that? I'm genuinely curious. I don't know what to think of him coaching at Inter but then again I wouldn't know with anyone else unless that someone is one of the best at what he does currently ala Allegri or Simeone and even then I wouldn't be confident with how they would go about their job, with Inter that is.

He seemed to have done a pretty solid work with Roma, considering how much Juve is ahead of everyone else besides them to be honest.

My biggest worry about Luciano is how vocal & somewhat negative he has been about his return to Roma during his pressers.

I don't know if it'll go down well with our management or the locker room hacks but seeing his position on Totti gives me some hope.

No reasons really, I just don't want to expect anything and end up disappointed again, like I did in the previous seasons. Despite doing well and playing attractive football, his best experience is Roma, that's it. I wish tactics were the only thing we lack in order for this team to go back to the top. But our problems lie deeper than just that, we need a coach who can plant winning mentality into our dead players' head, a coach who has good communication skills with the players and has enough experience to handle pressure.

I'm not saying its a wrong move by the management as Simeone and Conte, who to me are lights above Spaletti, are impossible to get. I just dont want to expect much.

I've softened up about him arriving now. If he gets his reinforcements quick enough this summer I'm sure we will do well next season.

That's if he can fix the locker room problems of course.

His contract is nearing the end and he doesn't seem keen to renew it. He seems a little dissatisfied with the controversies regarding Totti and looks as if he wants to try to win stuff somewhere else.

If Roma wins Genoa on sunday, they will finish the season with 87 points. last time we ended a season with higher number was in 06/07.

He is great coach that know's how to develop players and he himself improved a lot in recent years. I really hope he will join us, him and Sabatini is the right way to start our way back to top.

like I said in the other thread(too many of them tbh) where the fuck did they found Darmian(not even linked to him atm),Candreva still starting games...he is not a Luciano type of player...at all,unless he can transform him to a competent enough winger...putting names at random here Sky are we...us getting Nainggolan is nothing short of a miracle I think

well being realistic no way in hell nainggolan would want to come to inter so if he somehow ends up at inter this year it would have to be due to spaletti money or sabatini..
