In the 2010 -2011 season,up to leave Ranocchia,Genoa had the best defense in Serie A.

I hope he replaces Lucio !!! Cordoba is what 4th or 5th choice. If this kid is just going to be that at Inter I prefer we loan him out to Lecce or Chievo if they don't get demoted.

Bari: 17 matches, 15 goals allowed...I am pretty sure Inter had a better defensive record than that.
Genoa: 16 matches, 15 goals allowed...Milan was well under that, Lazio was under that, Inter was about the same.


Anyways, either way...still does not come close to: 9 matches, 0 goals allowed.

At the beginning they were the best, but when Ranochia got injured in game against Fiorentina they were the second/third best defense in Serie A.

/Checked before round 19 they actually were the best with 15 goals conceded. In round 19 when playing Fiorentina they lost 2-1 and Rano was injured...so till round 18 they were the best.

Ranocchia was injured on January 10th, 2010. This was the 18th match against Fiorentina.

Even if I take out the Juve game where he was suspended and the one goal Fiorentina scored after he went off, that still means Bari allowed 15 goals...


But what do I know...you guys are 100% certain, right? I think you guys are adding in the 4-3 match we won the day before Ranocchia got injured, but that was technically our 19th match. Bari's match against Genoa was postponed, so they were a match behind us.
