All the reports I've seen so far seem to suggest that we want to sign Ranocchia for next season and Bonucci in a couple of years time. IMO it should be the other way around, Bonucci keeps saying his 1st preference is to return to Inter instead of move to Juve/City while all we've ever heard Rano say is his desire to remain with Bari/Genoa next season. We should sign Bonucci and leave Rano for the time being, let him fully recover from his injury, because at the moment he doesn't even seem interested in playing for us, while Bonucci is desperate to return.

Besides if we sign Rano now I highly doubt Bonucci is going to wait 2 years for us to sign him, especially after being snubbed in that manner.

However, I think that we should sign Rannochia now and let him stay at Genoa until atleast January so we can make sure he gets playing time and recovers from his injury. Rannochia is rated higher and his price is only going to rise. We should take advantage of our great relationship with Genoa and get it done. He is the better player and the one we are more at risk of losing out on due to the fact he is not a known Interista like Bonucci. I know that type of stuff doesn't mean as much now a days but If it comes down to him having to chose a club we know where he's going. Plus Bonucci is co-owned which makes his situation a little bit more difficult.

Should be interesting to see who we end up with. According to reports we will get one of Lazio's top prospects Davide Faraoni (18) for free. Other reports say we have signed Stefan Bell (18) from Germany. There's also the Gremio president saying we are going after Mario Fernandes (19). Then of course there's the talk of Bonucci and Rannochia. Who's actually coming? Who knows.

Rannochia's stats are like Materazzi and Bonucci's more like samuel. they're stats aren't amazing but they both get good match ratings
