This game is a must win but we have to watch out not field overtired players. I regards to the Valencia game, I hope that an Arsenal style revenge doesn't happen. (I hate Arsenal since, they forgot to play fair and decided to injure Matrix and the avalanche came.)
Pitty El chino is still injured and hopefully Oba can come in the second half.
Il Capitano must start.[/u]

This is an extremely lively Lecce side that has plenty of different options in attack, you have livewires such as Bojinov and the lankier, more methodical approach of Vucinic (who is starting to catch the eye of the ignorant watchers). At the back, expect Cassetti to roam foward especially at home but hopefully Diamoutene will have his work cut out against either one of our big strikers, assuming at least one will start.

I strongly believe that trying to match this team for pace would be an asinine approach. Instead, we should look to slow the tempo (this is where Seba Veron becomes crucial), and try and stretch the play more. But as we've all seen with the way Mancio goes about things, it's more likely Inter'll go for the jugular.

Appearances in 2004/05:

Adriano 12
Stankovic 11
Cordoba 11
Veron 11
Cambiasso 10
Favalli 10
Materazzi 10
J. Zanetti 10
Toldo 9
Vieri 9
Davids 8
Zé Maria 8
Emre 8
van der Meyde 8
Recoba 7
Cruz 5
Martins 5
Burdisso 5
C.Zanetti 2
Mihajlovic 1
Pasquale 1

Adriano has played all 5 champ leagues games and all 7 italian games. He is the only player to do so, thats not very good news. That means we are relying to much on him, and that he hasnt got a fair rest.

mine:
Fontana
Ze Maria-Cordoba-Materazzi-Favalli
VDM-Emre(Karagounis)-Cambiasso-Davids

this is the squad no Vieri and C.Zanetti and still no sign of Coco either :( also no Gamarra, ive seen him train really intensely on the pictures so im surprised he isnt in the squad. So the attack will probably be Cruz-Adriano.

Look at thess pictures guys nice ones hehe

I would with this one:

Fontana

JZ - Cafe - Matrix - Favalli

Karagounis - Cambiasso - Davids - Emre

Cruz - Adriano

Yep, that's maybe too different from last ones, so it's not very likely. Deki could take also the LW position. Karagounis could start in this one, I believe in him, that he is capable of deliver in his first match, he's a true fighter.

Striking partner is very likely, Mancini said that Cruz is the most in-form striker and Oba isn't still fit to start. Plus Adriano is a must in the starting eleven right now.

Davids should also start in this one so he could get his form back ( though I don't mind if he won't and will be left out of the squad for the whole year, we have enough great players to the midfield).

Probably there will be Veron and Deki instead of Kara and Emre.

CZ hasn't been called up to this game because of knee problems. It's a shame cause we could've used him in this game to rest Cambiasso and limit the danger of the Lecce forward line.

So no CZ, Vieri, Recoba, Burdisso and Mihajlovic.

I think Adriano Martins will be our pair in attack, Davids is likely to play in the middle. The defence should be the same as against Milan. We'll have to see if Mancio will be a bit cautious and play Ze Maria RW, or go for V D Meyde.

I agree with Gismo's lineup. Pairing Davids and Cambiasso might just give us a chance against the very offensive-minded Lecce. I might be tempted to used VDM instead of Ze Maria but there's not a huge difference between the two. (Ze Maria is a much better crosser, while VDM has more pace)

Bring on Martins at Half-time if Cruz isn't doing anything.

If Coco managed to play a full match with Primavera, he most certainly is able to play 15 minutes in the end in any match. It seems to me he will never get a chance under Mancini. It's also weird that they haven't said anything about Gamarra lately. I feel sorry for him, he already got rid of us and here he is again, with no chance to play.

About tomorrow's match, I think too, that probably Adriano-Cruz will start the match. And Karagounis must start too. No Veron, please Mancio.

I think Ze Maria will start since Lecce isn't your typical counterattacking italia team, they play to score and win. With Cruz and Adriano we can certainly use ZM's nice crosses.

This could be anothre high-scoring game but maybe this time Fontana will give us the edge.
