Bojinov´s goal was a freak goal, but not completely out of reach for Fontana. I also think Fontana can do better on the second goal, where we also got to see Materazzi´s weakness.

It´s not looking good.

Well I have only one thing to say what a crap resaults...Again we didn't manage to held a nill in the back. And our the defence was so shaky that we where lucky that they didn't won the game. Our defence is shit, it's the worst I have ever seen, When your are to goals in front you should win the game....And not make a draw.....Our players need to improve very much or they should be sold, And then we should get some who actualy can defend.

Only posetive thing I can come op with is the 3 of Cambiasso, Martins and Adriano the rest of our players should be ashamed

well, most of the players on this game has played three games in a row..
I say, that fielding these players are great, but as soon as we have 2-0 lead, mancini should field fresh players in place of overfielded players

Why it was Veron's fault? Okay, I don't say that the draw was simply Veron's fault, no. But Veron is the primus motor of our team, he's the playmaker, to who to pass the ball and he starts to run our game. Yesterday (like on Sunday) he was so bad with the ball and with his assists that it made me feel sick (and Mancini let him "make" our game till 88th minute). It doesn't help if player makes couple of great moves on the game if he makes multiplied times more wrong decisions and moves. And if this players is supposed to be the brain of team's game, things aren't going so well.

:(

Mancini should let go the idea of Veron being our main player on the midfield.

IF only Mancini had 20% of Cuperman's knowledge when it comes to defensice side of the game! :(

UNFORTUNATLY soon we will have to forget about Lo Scudetto and focus on the C.L trophie! 2 wins out of 8 and 16-13 in goal differnce will not take us very far!

Lets hope Roma can do us a favour tonight. Then again having said that - its a sad story that we are already counting on other teams giving us a helping hand!

My ratings and a few quick notes.

Fontana 6,5
J.Zanetti 6
Cordoba 5,5
Materazzi 5
Pasquale 6
Van Der Meyde 5
Veron 5,5
Cambiasso 6
Stankovic 5
Adriano 6
Martins 6,5

Davids 5
Karagounis and Cruz played too little

Mancini 5

Our central box (central defenders and central midfielders) was in the moon yesterday. Cordoba and especially Materazzi were very shaky and Bojinov fooled them couple of times. Cambiasso made two fantastic ball wins that leaded to our goals (and some other nice attacking set ups, credit for him about them) but I was rather disapointed with his game on our defensive third. There was again enormous gap between our midfield and defense (during the first 65 minutes when Lecce pushed forward). I think Cambiasso was supposed to play just in front of defense and fill in those gap. Have to admit that partly Cambiasso suffered because of partnering defensivly poor Veron but Cambiasso can do defensivly better anyway in my opinion. Hopefully Cristiano Zanetti will be back soon that Inter could put him and Cambiasso in central midfield. They could partner each other very well, I guess.

It's true Veron should have never started this game, slowed pace down, missed passes and was in troubles defensivly but anyway he set up 3-4 open scoring opportunities with some magnificiment passes. I'm definitely not saying he was great or even good but surely he played better than against Milan and Valencia and doesn't deserve all those bashing, I think.

Apart from crappy finishing strikers did well and showed good co-existence there. But hell, they have to be able to find net more effective for phuck's sake.

It should be Toldo for Lazio. Fontana performed some hell of saves but he and Materazzi completely screwed up Lecce's second gol. And like Jimmy (our Jimmy) said neither first of Lecce's goals was impossible to stop. Though it was superb shoot by Bojinov.

Crappy game but despite our relatively crappy performance we had chances to grab the damn three points. Vergogna Inter!

edit: Davids should leave Inter immediately.

A lot have been said, but here are my remarks.

Veron: First of all, I'm sick and tired of Veron. Like CafeCordoba asid, he's supposed to be the brain of our game, but what's the use when a lobotomy has been done...

Veron slows our game all the time, he just keeps the ball, until he loses it or then mispasses it. He did that million times yesterday. He made only two good plays yesterday, when he setup Adriano and Javier. We had ObaOba and Imperatore upfront and we should've played quick balls to them so they can run and challenge the defenders. Now Veron always waited until every opponent is back defending and then he tried to do his awful passes.

And that's not all...Veron's set-pieces are horrible, especially his corners. Has anyone seen him given one decent corner kick this season. It's like he doesn't know how to kick the ball. Anyway, I'm also sick and tired to whine about him.

Van Der Meyde: :yuck: He simply did nothing, well he wasted one golden opportunity, other than that he just stood in the right wing. Especially his defending is awful, way worse than Recoba's has ever been.

Davids: Came on as a sub and again did nothing at all, well a little bit more than VDM, since we got the control of the game, but no wonder when we played with one played less (VDM) all the match until his sub. Anyway, Davids was again appalling. He can't pass the ball properly and he just hold the ball too long, just like Veron. He should leave us and find a career in beating up paparazzi or something.

Matrix: He slower than my dead grandma, what the hell was he thinking in the second goal, beats me.

Fontana: Both goals were a bit easy, well he made some excellent saves too.

Deki: Was non-existent and is clearly tired.

Oba and Adriano: Nice goals, but incredible misses too, especially from Adriano.

Mancini: He's gone mad. First he complained that only difficulty he has is to choose the linup from 30 champions. Then he sticks with the same players all the time, who are clearly tired. And why does he always wait so freaking long to make those substitutions. What's the use of giving 5 minutes time to Cruz and Kara.

I've got to download this game today, it is a MUST for me... :touched: :D

Watch the first time only, it was a very good soccer by Inter.

By the way, that's very pathetic when you come here proud with you're Juve attitude to mock Inter and kick us when we're down.

Yesterday after the match my reactions to those kind of comments would have been something...let's say more aggressive.

Have to admit that you irritate me with at least half of your posts.

Sorry this off-topic...

You shouldn´t rub the salt in our wouds Bianco. I had high hopes for this season, but yesterday´s match put me back to the reality. We just aren´t ready...will we ever be?

Vuck, i dont even know what to write, i´m so damn disappointed! Why can´t we finish matches? Like Mancini said: "In the first six minutes of the match we created four incredible scoring chances. We should have taken advantage of them to finish off the match..."

We surely should´ve!

Martins were lively in first 30 minutes or so, but then he kinda vanished a bit. Mancini said before the match that Martins isn´t in full fitness and Cruz is. Still Martins played almost the whole match and Cruz played some pathetic five minutes or so. Martins had his chances to finish this match, but the luck or whatever wasn´t in our side.

Adriano started well, kinda like Martins, but him too vanished a bit. Adriano had a golden chance (few golden chances), but instead of scoring, he tried to score with a powerful shot. What a mistake that was! I guess he´ll learn that you dont have to score nice goals in every match.

One chance came for Stankovic. He should´ve scored, but he once again didn´t even try, he just gave a bad pass to Martins who couldn´t score. It wasn´t first time Stankovic did that in this season. Try to score when you have a chance or get the hell out of there! He had a really poor match. He needs rest or something.

Van Der Meyde had one great scoring chance, but he completely missed it, again. Other than that he was as useful as...i dont know what, but he seriously sucked! Not the first time he is on the field and do nothing, but whine and make a gestures with his hands. He did nothing but stand still like Jake mentioned. Pathetic!

Veron, oh Veron! Everything has been said about him already. He´s so slow creating anything. His passes are usually so poor, he´s really slowing us down. Few great crosses doesn´t make him a great player. Go back to Chelsea!

Cambiasso was the only man out there who fighted, won balls for us, created many chances etc. Man of the match.

I dont think we need Davids in this team. He hasn´t done squat so far. If we are so needy for the money that we had to give Cannavaro (who has been best defender in Serie A so far) to Juventus, then why wont we sell Davids as well? What kind of player do we need more, a great defender or another midfielder who´s not fitting to this team. Buy new defender Inter!

J. Zanetti did ok job and he was close to even score. That would´ve been something. Capitano scores the decisive goal! *Dreaming*

Cordoba was shaky and his passes/crosses were just "great". His tackling is awful, he isn´t playing in the same level he´s used to. But at least he was better than our own "Run like a wind" Materazzi.

What a pathetic match from him. He´s waste of space! His positioning is worse i´ve ever seen and he´s slow like a snail. He´s partly responsible for both goals. Burdisso, are you fit already? You´ll be needed!

Pasquale plays like Pasquale plays. Definitely not the worst player on the field, but i just dont know what he can bring to this team. Unreliable.

Fontana made some great saves, but he could have saved both goals as well. Could! He didn´t even try the first one and in second he just stand in there. I guess Toldo were happy to see that. Now he might get a nod in the goal against Lazio.

Mancini made his mistakes like almost every player did. Mancini said Martins isn´t in full fitness, but Cruz is. Still Cruz played five minutes. Where´s the logic for that?

Cambiasso :star: :star:

Materazzi :thumbsdo: :thumbsdo: :thumbsdo:

Van Der Meyde :thumbsdo: :thumbsdo:

That´s about it. Eight rounds played and if Juve wins tonight, then we´re 10 points behinfd the leader. Eight rounds and out of the Scudetto race. Not good! So damn disappointed!

Bianconeri, I am saying it again : This is an Inter forum. ;)

Not again !!
Roma, now Lecce and on top of that both were away games. We missed two great chances to win two important away games …

I was so sad after we conceded the equalizer, that I slept right after that, I didn’t even care to wait to know the score when there was still 30 minutes or so. I was damn sad even after their first goal, coz I knew that we wudn’t be able to hold them. I had thought that either we would make it 3-1 or they wud make it 2-2. And guess what ??

It’s just too much ….

My god, how slow is Materazzi ?? And look at the substitutions, isn’t it too late ??
C’mmon Inter, is it yet another season ?? I hope Mancini and the players have realized their mistakes.

Burdisso - how are you ??

Do we need to buy a new defender with the performance of our defence or should we wait for Gamarra as well ?

:(

[off-topic]sorry, that really was a hit under the belt when I come to think of it.... I'll edit it... :)

But on the other hand, please remember that I'm here to irritate, I'm provocative on purpose you know, it's nothing personal... And come on, I mock you because I'm very irritated with some of your posters attitude, they are allways full of themselves in the Autumns, "this season is ours!" etc., I just can't stand it... First of all dude, i think they have the right to be as wild as they want. Its their forum for god sakes, how do u want them to keep a lid on it. If you expect to come to a inter board and not hear enthusiastic fans saying "we are gonna win this year" u got another thing coming.

Everyone is bashing Veron.Nice, since he was the only player in our team that was able to create some brilliant goal situations for our team.He made about 3 passes that made our players to one /one with opposite golkeaper.

It was one of them games where the result isn't a disaster, but the circumstances are! :depress:

I don't want to start relying on other teams already - but I have to absolutely hope and pray that Del Neri's team beats Juventus. At least a draw!!!! :(

According to C4:

History also doesn’t favour the Nerazzurri. The club have never gone on to win the title after winning just two of their first eight League games.

oh well... its the usual stuff right? - "non mollare mai"

You know, I'm just feeling so freaking pissed. I mean, leading 2-0 against Lecce at half time and drawing with them after full time is just simply unacceptable. It doesn't matter if they're playing good football and all that crap. We're INTER, we can't just keep drawing games with clubs like Lecce.

I seriously think we need to get someone new, and good if not exceptional, for our defence. I didn't watch the game, but for a club like Lecce to be able to score 2 goals against us definitely has something to do with either our defence or goalkeeper.

MAAAAN!! I'm so fvcking pissed right now...

Dont forget a certain Cannavaro. Not making these kinda mistakes at juve.

My question is, why was Matrix marking Bojinov. I mean the kid is quick and matrix is a snail compared to him, why didnt Cordoba and Matrix do a CB overlap so that Cordoba marks Bojinov. That way the speed will go to the favour of inter.

Instead they didnt do that and he ran rings around Matrix. There wsa no arial threat from him for matrix to be on him anyway.
