Its time to make a statement. Its time to go on the offensive.

Icardi
Perisic - Martinez - Politano
Brozovic - Gagliardini
Asamoah - de Vrij - Skriniar - Vrsaljko
Handanovic

5 changes from midweek to keep things fresh. Lets do this.

Im always amazed of how they managed to spot talents and develop them in no time then resell them for high price. I bet if you buy all of their current players they'll somehow gather a new team of potential world class beaters out of thin air.

The point is, develop talent. They just have perfect condition to develop talent, mid table team with medium expectation.

If Vecino plays as AMC, we need Asamoah next to Brozovic.

We have gagliardini, and we need give him chances for next Lazio and Genoa to give a rest for both Brozo and Vecino. Gagliardini need step up his games since he will be crucial for our rotation system. And still waiting if Spalletti gonna reintegrating Joaomario or completely ignoring him. Gagsy and Joao Mario technically should good enough to beat midtable team like genoa amd give enough rest for our first team midfielder.

there is a distinct possibility that the match be postponed because a heavy rain is expected in rome next monday. fantagazzetta.com (a site which works for sky sport italia) reports it, among others.

it is not just about the conditions of the pitch, but also about traffic/security, as rome becomes an unmanageable mess whenever it pours.

lazio-udinese last season was postponed for the same reason.

of course it is also possible that next monday the match will be regularly played.

for the record, genoa-udinese might also be postponed.

yeah but I don't understand your reply. according to meteorologists next monday it's going to rain a lot in rome.

Oops, I actually thought you said that the rain is expected tomorrow (hence on Sunday), so Monday's game shouldn't be affected that much. If so, it's pretty bad especially for Genoa, they have that postponed game with Milan midweek.

postponing this match is not a bad thing for us, we are coming after 2 heavy games and some of our players are injured or unfit but waiting 10 days for next inter match is too much so i hope we play them right on schedule.

I'll actually be back in my hometown for a couple of days when Inter play Lazio, the same town I was in back on May 20 when they last played Lazio.

Score one for parallelism.

That said, if Firmino's speculation comes true, I would agree in principle that it wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen, on the surface at least, but, at the same time, someone else of note might be injured at the time of a rescheduled fixture and, given both our and Lazio's other committments, who knows when the rescheduled fixture might be? Definitely a "careful what you wish for" kind of thing for any of us who think Monday night's game being postponed could work in our favor. Maybe it will, maybe it won't.

Eh, we beat them without Radja last time and Rafinha didn't particularly play well in the May game anyway. With the added quality of Politano and the curse of the ex at play (De Vrij, Keita) I think we'll win comfortably.

I wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw though, it's still Lazio at the Olimpico.

In all likelihood we will see Borja playing the AM role which I prefer over seeing Lautaro playing there in a role he can't perform in and ultimately leave a big gap between the midfield and Icardi. Keita playing there also doesn't appeal to me, we don't play the type of football to utilise his pace down the centre either so that would just be another waste of a spot on the pitch.
