He was signing for Venezia, at a certain point the Venezia's managment flew to Lipsia to get a sign on the new contract, just to be informed that he already signed with Udinese.
This give you already the full image of the man behind the player.

He was not first choice at Udinese either.
Its a very common practice to hyper promote a young fairly talented player like this. One of the steps is to link him with every major club you can think of starting at a young age. A big red flag is when he does not join any and just gets sold for peanuts. Lots of players from Serbia, Croatia and Romania show talent but never quite make it and end up in China, Turkey or mid table Serie A teams at best.
Might not be the case with Samardzic but the pattern is there.

He made 5 goals and 4 assists in 37 games last season. I think he would get enough minutes since Mkhi isn't getting any younger and he and Barella need rest from time to time. If he unleashes his potentiall he could become 4th choice pretty fast

I am sure he would have. This whole drama intrigued me so I dug a little deeper. He is at his best as a trequartista and it looks like he is either having problems adapting to new roles or does not want to. So he is fairly hard to fit in a team especially in Serie A. With our midfield he would have never been a starter and I guess that is the reason he was not a regular starter at Udinese either.
5 goals and 4 assists is not bad ..... for a midfielder. He is playing an advanced role and is best with ball to his feet just outside the area or cutting from the side with the ball on his left. His workrate is low and does not press or get involved much. I dont think he would ever be able to replace Barella or any of our midfielders for that matter. I see him as pure novelty just like Kovacic and Coutinho.

Okay thanks for insight. I didn't really watch him play to be honest. In this case we don't really need him in the system we play. We also don't need a toxic snake in our dressing room. I hope we invest the money we save into a quality RCB

Other clubs don't give a fuck about this, if udinese lets him go, he is off to napoli, juve or whoever is interested. Icardi literally refuse to play and had loudmouth wanda on his side, rabiot mom is the biggest piece of work when it comes negotiations yet with both of those players they found a new club quite easily.
