I understand these things can happen with greedy agents/father, who are looking for a few million more in commissions. The club right to walk away from such deals if players/agents go back on their word. Its best not to keep a snake in your backyard, one day it will bite.
However, our club is not without fault. Lazar has been a target for the club for a long time, why wait for so long? If a deal was done earlier in the summer, clubs like West Ham would have had less of a chance to sabotage the deal. But we all know why Inter waited, first we wanted to sell Onana & Brozo to ensure profitability in this window, and then we negotiated long to shave off a million or two more. This blame falls on Suning, they are skint & all of Europe knows they can take advantage or sabotage. We can say that Inter were never really that keen on Scamacca, but can Inter really use that same excuse for Lazar? At this rate, we are really lucky that Sommer didn't get hijacked.
