I always had confidence in Lautaro but of course he needs to grow as a player, next step is trying to be more often in the right place to score. He doesn't have a lot of chances to score if you look at his game (not that we are creating a lot but still). The performance are good and the goals are there but this is where I think he has more room for improvement.

When he's on the field he doesn't make himself the focal point of attack, he tries to open up for others in the buildup play, not just "push the line" (a la Icardi).

My biggest gripe with his game is his (sometimes) careless touches and his lacking hold-up play. I think that will come with time.

His hold up play is shown when nainggolan is trailing him. Otherwise he's doing his best to be a poacher.

Why the fuck didn't we sign tevez

When exactly?

We had Zlatan, Adriano, Crespo, Eto'o, Milito... As for when he went to Juventus, we signed Icardi and Belfodil. "Build for the future", we weren't a CL team and Tevez was 29-30 so according to present day FIF, it was a good decision not to pursue him at that time :D

The real question is why didn't we sign Aguero in 2011.

Because he cost 40m€. We didn't pay such fees at that time.

Aguero was scoring left and right for a young age. We could only get him if we sold Milito and Maicon straight after CL.

At that time, I didn't even want to sell Balotelli for 20mil or sell him at all, so I doubt selling Milito and Maicon would happen....

Nah, we just took the Branca road of mediocrity.

We spent 12m on Alvarez, got Forlan on a rather high salary and also had sold Eto'o for around 30m.

If Branca didn't think he had discovered the next Nesta (Ranocchia), next Maicon (Jonathan), next Zlatan (Castaignos), next Di Biagio (Poli) and next Kaka (Alvarez) and we had someone who understood the business side of football more we'd not live through this horrid decade in hope of surviving the 2010-2015 mistakes. Someone who'd tell Moratti that we should cash in on a couple of players and restructure the team around a young starlet (someone like Sergio Aguero, Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard etc who all were in our radar and would love to join us at the time).

That 2010 window was also shambolic. Mascherano was begging to rejoin with Benitez and we didn't even bother. Moratti was too drunk from success to realize what he was doing to Inter and he was surrounded by incompetence.

Our last high profile transfer was Samuel Eto'o and he was pretty much given to us as a discount coupon...

Moratti wanted to stop spending to Inter anymore. He was part of the group which originally initiated the whole FFP fiasco. Then he himself blew everything with the new contracts to old guard but stopped spending after that.

Lautaro on Icardi and his relationship with him at least thats what he talks about in the video at the bottom.
One of the reasons why i want to see them start together before we sell mauro he says how mauro helped him alot since he came to italy and how maur has been very good to him and that they have a good relationship on and off the pitch.

He has scored 9 goals in all competitions so far, 6 of them were in the league so he is more than likely to score a few more until the end of the season.

Will start upfront with Messi against Venezuela.

I hope he plays the whole match. It would be nice to see how he does when he has the support of Messi.
