A meh game against one of the teams that already stole points from us this season. Hopefully it doesn't fuck with him too much.

I don't think he had a meh game. It's true that his long passes were off the mark and he was a bit slow at decision making, but he was very active in making himself available and he was ok in defense. I don't know what more should be expected when his mates in the middle were Klaassen, and Frattesi who usually sits too high.
I actually like his crosses. The ball is sharp and fast with good trajectory, which makes it hard for defenders. His crosses in late game turned into Hakan's for some reason. Low, weak, aiming the near post.

Okay, I agree with all that, sure - playing with Frattesi and Klaassen isn't the same as playing with Barella and Mkhitaryan. I just feel he didn't have one of his better games overall, misplaced passes, one bad shot (but at least he finally ran forward to take that shot)

He did look a bit more physical compared to himself from a few months ago

Decent sub appearance today, especially on his defensive responsibilities.

He didnt buy me with his performance yesterday. Really curios to see will he start against Fiore or Limone will try with trio Frattesi Barella and Mhiki.

Inzaghi will start Barella - Klaasen - Mkhitaryan, just to piss off everybody who wants Asllani and Frattesi to play more.

He looks out of his depth there.

If anything he's a Mkhitaryan replacement, but not a very good one.

It doesn't seem like any of our bench players can overtake Mkhi's spot, anytime soon though.

Asllani has been somewhat decent, maybe same goes for Frattesi, but none of them are good enough as starters in this Inter. Players in our starting eleven (with an exception of Dumfries) put a very high standard of performances which is very difficult for newcommers to break into starting line-up.

wasn't Dumfries best rwb in Europe statswise before his injury?

This guy needs to start against Lazio. He's gonna play against Fiorentina so better get some minutes in his legs. Inzaghi will play Calhanoglu anyway in the final if we get there and rightfully so as next time Calhanoglu will play is against Juventus.

We know that Limone has no balls to do something like that. He wants another trophy in the office and he wont risk anything.

I don't think Limone lacks the courage to play Asllani. Broadly speaking, the individuals have been rewarded game-time in relation to their output.

The issue with Asllani is that he still looks raw, and has arguably one of the best DMs in Europe ahead of him.

We've seen Limone demonstrate courage in playing the young Bisseck, trusting an attacking mid to overtake Brozovic, taking on an aging attacking mid/winger to play as a centre-mid and bringing on another winger with a poor scoring record to start up front.

You could argue that he may not have had much of a say in Miki and Thuram, but this season's Inter is the first time since Mourinho where I believe everyone's getting the minutes they deserve.

Not a bad game. Looked a bit lost in the first half. The quality gap between him and Hakan is huge. We lost possession because of him. But he did turn his game around after the 60th or so minute.

I quite liked him. He’s really talented imo. Not as good as Hakan yet offcourse, but he’s a good sub indeed.

This would have qualified as a steady performance in normal circumstances, but given that he had few options to his right, it was all the more impressive.

Unless we’re in desperate need of a goal or speed on the counter, Asllani should straight up be the first option for Barella/Miki ahead of Frattesi. I have little doubt he’ll perform better than Frattesi in that role.

At the very least, he can play in the centre and Hakan can move up.

His long-range passing would have been better utilised with Dimarco/Dumfries/Barella making forward runs.

Highs and lows but I thought it was an OK game overall. He has much to learn but you will only learn it on the pitch.

He needs to understand the game and his teammates better, many times he received the ball while one of our player went running to give him a pass opportunity forward and he slows the game by giving the ball behind.
