Absolutely gutted to hear rumours about Julio leaving. Talk about a player who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Would be bad to see him leave but it does look like a good move.
Lowers the wage bill, get money from a transfer, and a younger great replacement with Handanovic. Julio is still an awesome Keeper and would walk in to most teams, hopefully if we do offload him we will get a good price. Then again he aint exactly young

Really really really hope he doesn't go to Milan.

So again, this new ''project'' has just started and the all the wrong moves and shit results for the last two were just that right?

We didn't sell Eto'o and Balo and replaced them with hot junk because there was a ''new project'' in place but because Moratti and co. are bunch of incompetent idiots who thought Biabiany, Zarate, Pazzini, Forlan and co. can do the same job right?

Because that's exactly what am I reading here.

Incompetent is a kind word for some of the god awful decisions that have been made since the treble win. We are still suffering from not recruiting after the CL win. And some of the signings have been piss poor. Kharja, forlan, Gasperini etc.

I am feeling some excitement now Strama is the coach though. And all the players linked with leaving are the right moves. Just hope we get some good replacements.

There have been times when I have cursed MM name, don't even get me started on Branca. Don't get me wrong I love MM for what he has done for Inter. But the guy is sometimes our worst enemy with his decisions.

what do you want tbh,,

for decision to keep our treble hero and give them a huge contract
i will admit it that a big mistakes from MM and co,,
because they made a decision based on euphoria and respect for our player
and because of that, they no longer give our veteran a huge contract now
if MM and co,, still a same bromance person like two year ago
i can guarantee, lucio, maicon, forlan, cordoba will still in our team
do you want that,,

for now they said will fix that mistaken immediately
and you can see this year we have a different project than two years ago
9th july, and we already sign 4 player who have quality, did you see different from last two year?
we dont give our veteran big contract anymore
and we replace them with younger squad, made a room for our youngster

Man. This "lower wages" koolaid is stronger than I thought. MM and co. have Inter fans lapping it up like crazy.

(1) NO. Inter cannot rip apart any contract. That's why it's called a contract. For it to ripped apart, JC has to agree to rip it apart. Otherwise, he can sit and make his 4.5mil for the rest of his contract.
(2) Again, why must he "care" about Inter and lower his wages? The people who have fucked Inter are NOT THE PLAYERS, it's the management. Where is the management's sacrifice and "love for Inter" after they fucked everything up? THEY ARE NOT SACRIFICING ANYTHING. Why doesn't Branca "love Inter" and resign? Why doesn't MM "love Inter" and resign/hand over the reigns to somebody more competent? Branca and co. still have their jobs and still fucking around. As I said before, this is like Wall St. bankers; fuck shit up but then want other people to bail them out. You guys are straight up ridiculous.

I knew that someone was going to give this response.

So now if he isnt needed to show his love by taking a pay cut, maybe we fans shoudnt really say that its Julio man, the guy loves Inter blah blah blah.

I hope the point comes across.

All I read from your posts is that Inter is fucked up, they should just sell all the players, shut up shop and go away. Everyone makes mistakes, you did too by following a team that is struggling now, didnt you?

Nobody likes where we are and there arent many ways to get out of it. The people who love the club most are trying to get us out of it, so atleast we can give them chances.

I mean after 2010, if we sold Maicon and Milito fans would still whinge. So the plans for the last 2 seasons didnt work out. SO WHAT? Why cant we try again? Is it necessary to suceed all the time with our plans? Didnt we suceed for so long? Stop the stupid trolling and once we start failing(I know you'd love that), then complain. Isnt that the way it should be? Complain about last season. I will agree.

I understand some Interisti arent happy, even I'm not, but now some posters are referring to the hopeful ones as idiots and their opinions as ridiculous, is that the right way? Would you like someone to say that to you face to face on a street? No. You dont agree, but do it with class, with respect.

If Stankovic and Chivu are kicked out. At least I'd suck it up.

But this guy has been WAY too good for us in recent years. He's an Inter legend ffs. For me, he's more of a legend than Cordoba since he was No 1 since he contributed to everything we won in recent years.

It is a MASSIVE unexplained fuck up by the management to deal with one of our legends this way.

It's very disrespectful, and I'm very disgusted by Moratti and Branca.

Since the treble we had financial issues. I don't know any other team that won a treble and faced financial difficulties afterward. It just screams management incompetence.

Can you understand that the situation was different back then. We were paying big money to many many players. We had the money for that and willingness to keep the players who were making big money.

Today the situation is different. We don't want to do those things anymore. We might have the money or might not but we don't want to pay as much anymore because we want to develop the organization to a more healthier state financially. That's why Lucio left, Chivu got lower contract, Forlan left and this Julione thing is happening (even though it is handled in a totally fucked up manner).

I think it is not fair on part of management to punish players for what is essentially their stupidity. It was MM and his cohorts who offered JC a 4.5m a year contract. Gave a 31 year old Milito a pay rise after treble heroics and generally continued to spend like drunken sailors on shore break. What prevented them from including automatic wage reduction clauses? Had they just put a clause in player's contracts that non-qualification of CL will lead to salary cut, we wouldn't have had to treat JC like this.

I can understand the logic behind acquisition of Handanovic, All I ask for is that our legends be treated better than doormats. They could have simply flogged JC in the market before signing Handanovic. Or explained to fans that true financial picture of JC's contract talks? Is that too much to ask.

It would be really funny if JC stays for another 6 months to a year showing a middle finger at MM and gang

JC doesn't deserve the boot like that. The management fucked this up big time, should've handled it better. Anyways, MM's latest comments just sealed his fate. Sad :(

No friends? Some may even say Chivu has hurt us even more than an enemy could last year.. Yet we offered him an extension..

I feel that Cesar is being made a scape-goat for our shoddy defense.

Fixed tbh.

Let me be clear. I said about 1-1.5 years ago that imo, JC is finished. I have no problem with getting Handanovic. But this campaign by management to make JC look bad for "not accepting a wage cut" (as if he SHOULD do it) is downright despicable. Even more despicable is fans falling for that campaign and starting to actually believe the JC is "wrong"...

When did management attack JC? The only attack I heard was from JC's wife on twitter. Other than that both parties have been professional in that neither had gone on a smear campaign of the other.

I have not seen anything about JC being asked to take a pay cut. The only report of early contact between the club and JC was to inform him that they were going after Handanovic, and that he might be sold.

JC isnt wrong for not accepting a wage cut. He is being stubborn to go away. I'm starting to think MM is 2nd only to you in trying to sell stories.

:chan:

Why is he being stubborn to go away?

MANAGEMENT AGREED TO EXTEND HIS CONTRACT

You know, you guys are really really ridiculous. I think someone posted it elsewhere. When players are ON CONTRACT and trying to get raises and threaten to move e.t.c. (ex/ maicon), WE CURSE THE PLAYERS for not honoring their contract and for being whiny e.t.c. When it's the management doing it, you still curse the players?

Done with this JC situation tbh. Management didn't even treat scum shit like A. Mancini, Suazo or Muntari like this. They told those players they were on the trading block and tried to actively sell them. THAT IS WHAT MGMT SHOULD BE TRYING TO DO WITH JC.

I love the club but have every right to question people running it. As simple as that.

Nobody likes where we are and there arent many ways to get out of it. The people who love the club most are trying to get us out of it, so atleast we can give them chances.

Very doubtful. They got us into this in the first place and they are doing a horrible job trying to fix it.

So the plans for the last 2 seasons didnt work out. SO WHAT? Why cant we try again? Is it necessary to suceed all the time with our plans? Didnt we suceed for so long? What was that plan again? Sell quality players, replace them with shit, believe you can still compete and talk about FFP and lead some of your brainwashed fans to buy the idea you have some ''new'' project.

I understand some Interisti arent happy, even I'm not, but now some posters are referring to the hopeful ones as idiots and their opinions as ridiculous, is that the right way? Please stop with this crying of yours. I don't remember refering to anyone directly as idiot. And I don't intend to. I don't get the people that take stuff like management criticism so personally. You don't need to be so sensitive about this, seriously.
