I don't understand your point. We started this new policy after last season so what the previous years has anything to do with that? New policy is a new policy, starting from this moment. Anything that has happened in the past, has happened in the past. Stupid policies or no policies at all, it's irrelevant. What is relevant is what is and will be Inter's policy from now on.

Well according to some people there is some new ''project'' Moratti and co. have started right? That's what you peple have been convincing us for the last two years. For every move....Sell Balo and bring Biabiany----->new project. Sell Motta and Eto'o----->new project

So, why exactly didn't we start cutting all those players two years ago? We were obviously selling high quality players+were not buying anyone significant which lead to a great reduction in quality for the last two years. Simple logic-we weren't trying to compete anymore/or thought we can still do it replacing quality with trash. Either options doesn't make them look good.

So, you are basically saying that: (a)the new project albeit selling big earners and high quality players(transfer moneywage savings) DIDN'T include getting rid of high salary players until this summer? What sense does it make?

OR

(b)the new project have started as of this summer and they were actually trying to compete for the last two seasons. Replacing Eto'o, Balotelli and Motta with Biabiany,Forlan, Zarate and Palombo in the process?

"Julio Cesar is untouchable. Branca Go."

LOVE!!! Whoever made that sign & went there to protest is a true Interista, not you guys!!! Me neither...

-----

It's perfectly ok not to run Deki and Cordoba out and extend Chivu but Cesar & Maicon are just a killer for our new FFP friendly policy.:fu:

POST OF THE FUCKIN' YEAR!

But Wall... this is Inter. Did you forget how Eto'o's wages was the only boundary in front of us, preventing us to qualify for Champions League & had to be dealt with ASAP?

Somehow Stankovic, Cordoba and Chivu are/were not a huge burden on our wage budget but quality players like Cesar and Maicon are.

They were a huge Burden but we only decided to act this year. Chivu took a pay cut, Cordoba retired, and Stankovic could still leave. I don't see why you are upset, you can argue it should have been done earlier, in hindsight we should have offloaded Maicon after the treble as his performances dropped significantly since then.

If Julio left. I strongly believe that Sneijder is next without a doubt. just wait and see.

I doubt it, there aren't any suitors. Sneijder will only leave if there is a good offer, or we suddenly bag a great deal on an equivalent playmaker, then we might sell him cheap.

IF Sneijder is sold then there is most likely 95 % chance we will get Lucas, or some young big future player, but to be honest it will be to much, to let him go

That our new policy started after previous season. We didn't have this policy of cutting big salaries out till this summer. Cordoba retired. Maicon is getting sold as we speak. Only thing what's really curious is Stankovic and his big salary. But on the other hand we don't know the situation with him either. He's not called to Pinzolo retreat either.

I doubt Deki gets sold. He's not worth anything anymore and he's too much of an Inter legend to just rescind his contract like we've done with Forlan and Lucio. As for JC, well I understand the wages concern but there was much bigger problems than GK. Whatever though. This club rarely makes sense in what they do anymore. Just gotta roll with it as fans.

Your point?

cordoba already retired,,
and as team manager he doesnt have a huge contract,,
putting cordoba alongside deki and chivu for that sentence is make no sense,,

They were a huge Burden but we only decided to act this year. Chivu took a pay cut, Cordoba retired, and Stankovic could still leave. I don't see why you are upset, you can argue it should have been done earlier, in hindsight we should have offloaded Maicon after the treble as his performances dropped significantly since then.

its because we still on euphoria after treble campaign
so MM decided to keep our treble hero instead selling them with huge transfer, etc milito, maicon,
and i believe many fans out there was agreed with that policy back there,,

yess is a mistakes, because it cost us much now,, MM shouldnt take a decision based on euphoria,,

I doubt. Strama said that Sneijder has a big part in his team.

damn, i wrote my comment about JC in the Maicon Thread...

Just look at how often Castellazzi had to replace JC the last two seasons, 21x Serie A + 5x CL. That's too much for a Backup Goalkeeper. By the way, according to Sky JC was told months ago about our intention to replace him as starting GK.

The management should have sold him instead of making everyone go thru this. Now anyone can bid for him half price as a result or even free if they rescinded his contract completely.complete incompetence. As if his wages were determined by him only.

I want to know more about this. The most obvious and rational thing was to sit Julio down and tell him he will have to take a pay cut. I mean its simple, he is earning the wage of 2010 and is not going to get better or something.
