Why the fuck would we want him?Normally I would be thrilled with this transfer but we have no position for him and are already stacked with young strikers(he is a winger but can play SS).

He would just rot on the bench and get loaned or used as bargaining chip next year.

So did Falcao, Higuian, Simone, Mario Yepes, Mascherano, Alexis Sanchez...... River were crap for 1-3 half seasons but they are back to being a good team.

My knock on this kid is he won't start and are we just getting him to get another Argie? He won't be free and even for Shuletto he doesn't make a difference because he won't play. He is too green.

“There was talk of Inter but he is one that plays as an attacking winger. The Inter of Walter Mazzarri play in the formation of 3-5-2 and so he can hardly play in this position. We are talking about a player who is only capable of attacking and so he would be more suited in a 4-3-3 formation.”

Porto saw something in Iturbe 3 years ago but he flopped... and if a player flops in Portugal, what can he do in the most tactical league there is!? Forget it.
