We are linked to Juan for quite a long time now and things are getting serious on relation Juan Jesus - Inter. The reports from Brazil are now saying, that he is Inter player now, but he will join us in january.

Juan was born on 21.6.1991 in Belo Horizonte. He can play both as a CB or LB. The transfeer fee is supossed to be around 5 and 6m€. What do you guys think about him.

4m€ is pretty nice fee if Juan grows to be a regular player for Inter. He doesn't even have to develop to a sure starter, but even a rotation role is fine for that price. I've understood the management have looked for a partner for Ranocchia and Juan is a different type of CB than Rano. That's why they haven't gone for Dede who is apparently more like Rano and Lucio (and also more talented and expensive).

Would love to hear opinions about Juan, so if anyone have seen him play, comments here would be appreciated.

From what i've heard, he reminds in his style and in the Physical Characteristics
, but he isn't fast as Pepe.

Hmm, apparently Juan is more like LB/CB (well this is probably said earlier but I've missed it), I get that impression from those video clips in Defenders thread. So it seems he projects as the replacement for Chivu (and we let Chivu go with his massive wage demand? ).

Chivu replacement seems like (hopefully) I've only seen Internacional once on the tele and didn't pay strict attention to the game lol. For what it's worth they're one of the better defensive clubs in the Brasileirao this season. Not sure how big a part Juan played in that.
