Obi was magnificent. Without a doubt the best player to come out of the primavera since Balotelli.

He does not just add pace - he tackles, dribbles, passes and crosses, he is the whole package. All we need is to utilize him correctly- and I doubt that is done by playing him on the wing.

I disagree with those of you who say that he did not play well today -he was the best player on the pitch for large portions of the match.

What's with my post?? I dont get you.. Chivu and Nagatomo made tons of unprofessional mistakes, but they are professionals.. While Obi is 21 and did just fine and made less errors than many other players in the team.

Yeah, he needs more playing time. His passing is still rusty and so is his decision making. When he will get those attributes better, he will be a very good starter for us. Today he run like a headless chicked a bit too much to me.

You could see how he panicked when he had a ball layed off to him on the edge of the box. He could have shot first time but decided to stop it and looked for a pass into the box that did'nt come off He just needs to find more confidence in himself. Will get better though.

Being proud to see our team receive a talent like Obi from Primavera and he's surely a great talent, but last night he was crap really. I'm used to see a better Obi tbh. I'm just judging him for last night's performance which was very disappointing.

Bad decisions, bad passing .. And how he was not disappointing Pajo? Obi last night was crap but not as bad as likes of Nagatomo, Chivu, Sneijder that were terrible.. I really like the kid but last night he was disappointment.

And thats all because he was afraid, you cant expect 19 years old boy to be the leader of your team, when the likes of Sneijder is crap.

Man, Obi had few misguided passes that could led Juve to great counter attacks, and also lost few balls due to poor control or being slow. He lost way too many balls last night and I'm not used to that. We all know he's better than that and could do better but just admit it that Obi last night was disappointment.

And I'm not expecting him to be a team leader, I just want him to perform as he always performed for us so far, thats all. And yea, Sneijder was terrible last night, without doubt.

He plays way better than his age indicates.He is smart with his movements and ok consistentcy wise and strong all qualities you dont find in young players that they develop over time.He will develop and get better I hope but i am happy from what i am seeing from him.

Imho he should be a sure starter in midfield!! I m sick and tired of seeing deki/cuchu/Motta midfield and none of them can run with the ball at their feet. I mean i still think they are all very usefull to this team but our midfield is so fucking static with all of them playing together. So please ranieri get it in your head that obi should start in midfield unless deki somhow manages to run again for 90 min or we get a proper box to box midfielder.
