I'd really like to see us discussing Cancelo with Valencia after the 30 of June. Give them Eder and 35M€ split into 3/4 payments and call it a day. If that wont work and they start counting every penny then :

Wait until september, get into CL group with Valencia and smack them both home and away and relegate them to EL or last, that would be a nice 'fuckyou2' message.

Valencia can ask whatever they want but that doesn't mean they'll get so much for Cancelo. Especially since he isn't going to the world cup. So far they have no offers for him. There are some weak links with Man Utd but i doubt they would spend 45m for Cancelo. Especially if they get that Dalot guy.

Are we linked with the names you mention or they're just your suggestions? I like Heinrichs but he would cost a lot. There were even rumours of Chelsea activating his 35m release clause. Kaderabek would be decent but i can't see him being much better than D'Ambrosio. I would certainly take him over the likes of Peres and Bereszynski though.Odriozola has a 45m release clause and Real are after him. We can't get him. Bustos is highly rated in Argentina but he would be a gamble as he hasn't played in Europe before. I like Klostermann. He was a really good player prior to his injury but he hasn't looked as good since he returned so i am a bit sceptical about him. Elvedi is more a CB than a RB. Too defensive for my liking. With Asamoah on the left i would like a more attacking fullback on the right.

Unless Cancelo is willing to go to a team like Wolves, the only real threat from EPL is Man Utd. They need a new RB but if they get that guy from Porto for 25m i can't see them spending another 45m on Cancelo. Man City spent 80m on two RB just a year ago so i can't see them getting another. Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal aren't looking for a RB. No idea about Chelsea since they don't even have a coach yet.

We sold 2 players in not sure how many years, Rafael and Depay, considering the money paid, they are easily worth the money and they will get more than double for Depay.

He confused Valencia price tag for Cancelo (45), our price tag for Eder (10m) and the fact Eder agent is in Spain to discuss with Valencia which all of them were reported by FCIN. I should have checked for a link before posting on FIF. Sorry guys. My bad. :embarass:

Fcinternews just reported that Gazzetta saying Juve will soon contact Valencia for Cancelo.

I hear that Juve are planning a bid for Cancelo. I don't think 35m are that much these days, and Cancelo has impressed greatly in Serie A. So I can see why Juve are so interested, they are usually the smartest movers in calciomercato.

Would Cancelo turn Juventus down to wait for a club that did not take up their option in him? I'm not sure.
