I am guessing that selling Joao Mario at this stage is going to be a tough task. Given the lack of interest, I anticipate that the best we will be able to do is send him out on loan. However, if we fail to do that and I do not think that is likely, what do you think we will do with him? How do you think he will be used, if at all?

Depends on how he will come back from WC vacation, if he apologizes and is humble enough to try and re-build his career Spalletti may give him a chance.

If he apologizes, gets his head right and first of all returns back to the Inter camp then he won't be bad as a backup to Radja. Tbh, he wasn't that bad when he was played as a DM by De Boer. He has the technical ability to do so.

I think Spalletti wouldn't give him a guarantee that he would be a starter. Thats what any new coach will say to a young player. Guaranteed starters at Inter were Icardi, Miranda and Handanovic (maybe also Perisic), the rest had to prove their worth to the new coach and will become starters only if they are better than others. However, I suspect K-dog would have started over Vecino, Gags and Bro, at least initially.

You could suspect Kondogbia was going to be a starter but you keep mentiong "he was going to be a starter for us" as if it was a fact. what we know as a fact is that Spalletti told him "he is not going to be a starter" the rest are just speculations. However I don't see a reason for Spalletti not telling him the truth and end up losing his trust right off the bat. Spalletti told him he wasn't going to be starter and I believe he was being honest.

So please stop saying he was going to be a starter for us.

The only concern I have about him returning to Milan and joining the team at some stage is that although the club and his teammates may be forgiving, our fans definitely will not be. it is almost guaranteed that any playing time he gets, he will be booed and given a very hostile reception by our fans. I do not need think the squad as a whole or the team selected on a match day should be subjected to that kind of hostility as things can quickly turn sour.

He will prob be fined at most. Inter never were a club that keeps a player if he doesn't want to or forces players to stay as far as i can remember.

The contract can be rescinded for cause but that would mean no transfer fee for him to recoup anything from him.

Worst case scenario is that he will be loaned out again.

All fans will forgive him, if only he reborn like Brozovic.

Playing good, and all hate will be forgiven.

If Brozovic can do it, why he didn't?

I dont think there is any chance of him staying here next season.
We ll eventually lower our demands and loan him out to some portugese club! He does not want to be here and i m sure nobody at the club wants him back after his statements.

Also he was not good enough for our midfield last season how the hell is he gonna cut it with radja here and brozo actually being a good player?
Well probably try to sell him till the last day of the mercato and then will just loan him to sporting in order to at least recoup some of his cost for the next season.

I m sure there are plenty of clubs who would take him on a cheap loan but they cannot afford to buy him.

Apparently there is some clause in his contract that we can't sell/loan him to Portuguese clubs other than Sporting without paying Sporting compensation.

Apparently clubs are waiting until the last day of the mercato so they'd offer us peanuts for his ass knowing we'd be desperate for money to balance the books and avoid UEFA penalties.

Fuck him tbh, unprofessional cunt.
