If he apologizes, gets his head right and first of all returns back to the Inter camp then he won't be bad as a backup to Radja. Tbh, he wasn't that bad when he was played as a DM by De Boer. He has the technical ability to do so.

The problem is that somewhere in that deluded head of his he doesn't see himself as a backup player. Kia scammed Inter for 45m, everyone knows that by now, except of Yao Mario who probably still thinks he is worth that. If he stays at Inter for some reason (which I just don't see happening), he will sulk all the way and make stupid statements like he has been making. He will cause locker room discord.

Yao Mario is a rotten apple. Lets not put him in the same basket as our good apples.

So GdS reports Ciao Mario won't return to Appiano by mutual consent with the club. So the player and the management totally sees him out of Inter in any given scenario.

Well that's fine if we can ditch him out, but I can totally see it being loan with an option to buy at the last day of the mercato, unfortunately. This fucking loser with his dickhead agent can't get him sold permanently anywhere.

Link not working... are you sure?

Why would you officially accept a player`s words as a club? It would only further slim your chances of selling him. I only hope the GdS report is not true! If anything, JM should be fined for publicly stating he`s not coming back.

Loan will no longer be accepted according to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky and for the time being, there are offers from Real Betis, Sporting Lisbon and West Ham. Inter want to sell him, even with loan with obligation to buy, otherwise, he will stay here in the city of Milan. The demand is 30 million euros.

If that's true, we won't see Vidal + Barella here, at most only one of them (or some other midfielder)

We should not play hardball at the wrong time. Drop the balls and ship him away asap. 20-23m would do.

We can't go all the way down to 20m. At that point we are taking a loss that is almost as large as his amortization charge for this year anyhow. A 3-4m paid loan would be better than that.

Problem is we need to find a club who is willing (and capable of) paying that kind of loan fee PLUS his full salary.

Definitely true, though I suspect that will be easier than finding someone who will buy him outright for our asking price of 27-30m. :)

What a cancer this guy is on our books. I think the last player we had stuck on our books that annoyed me this much was Matias Silvestre. We signed him to a big contract and then couldn't get rid of him. And what we paid for him was peanuts compared to Mario.

i'm pretty sure he will end up going on loan with redemption to buy + a loan fee between 1 and 2 mil. probably in england, where his wages aren't too much even for a low table team.

so it will be just like last winter, only this time (because of the amortization) the option to buy will have a lower price.

The cyanide formula. I can buy it if you feed him it.

There's a tweet of someone on a flight to Lisbon and Joao Mario is on the flight. Loan back to Lisbon being rumoured.

That would be quite a letdown, for Inter and also for his career. From big lights of Milano or high quality of EPL matches back to home to fucking Portuguese league.
