Ausilio said that they probably gonna retire the numero 4 but I think it's a mistake...the numbers are a great motivation for future players...it's like "oh wow I got JZ's 4 I'must not dissapoint now"
At Man.Utd the number 7 is a respected number and is an honour for anyone to have...Best,Cantona,Bechkam,CR...
but if we retired Facchetti's number then JZ deserves the same honour as they are both very important part in Neroazzurro history.I won't say who is more because they were equally important in their times here.
Anyway I'm gonna let ET and JZ decide...

For me Number 4 it's more than just a number, and i don't think there is anyone who deserve to wear this. You have good point, but i can't see someone else but JZ wearing this shirt.Ausilio said that they probably gonna retire the numero 4 but I think it's a mistake...the numbers are a great motivation for future players...it's like "oh wow I got JZ's 4 I'must not dissapoint now"

Javier Zanetti unveiled a very special Inter captain’s armband for his last San Siro game tonight.
This evening against Lazio will be Zanetti’s final Serie A match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, as he’s hanging up his boots at the end of the season.
The 40-year-old revealed via Facebook that his armband for tonight will be yellow with the message ‘Zanetti 4 Ever.’
It will also have crammed on the names of all his Nerazzurri teammates during these 19 years at the club.
“I had wanted to put the names of all the real protagonists of my adventure at Inter, in other words the fans,” said ‘Pupi.’
“As that was not possible, I put the names of my teammates, who were equally important for me and my career.”
