guys, ESPN is TERRIBLE when it comes to italian transfers and not only that. they just copy other sites and sometimes not even paying attention to what they copy. I for one think he was the most talented and gifted player in our squad but the intentions are clear that at 28 this guy wants to kick the champions league ball around a bit more. I think the fee that is coming with a player that has his heart on departing is astronomical for us and we should see it as a great productive opportunity to bring in Keita for less than half of what we get for Perisic and also use those funds to reinforce the fullback role (still the most important aspect of our broken lineup to amend). Ill be sad to see him go, but this transfer is a win for us....providing we reinforce appropriately of course.

If you want young talented attackers then Schick, Asensio and Correa fit the bill. Balde doesn't come anywhere near that level. He's too inconsistent and have too many attitude problems so basically we're buying another Brozovic.

Schick is half-in-half-out at Juve. Even if he doesn't go there, he potentially has a heart problem.
Asensio isn't leaving Madrid to come to Inter.
Correa is the same, plus Atl. Madrid are under a transfer ban, they won't let players leave because they can't replace them.

Even if we could get one of them, they'd cost much more than Keita, who is a very affordable (around 20m) and talented player.
