That's not even a quarter of the matches I've seen from him at Wolfsburg, plus I've also seem him at Croatia quite a bit, not all matches but most of them, at least of the official ones and some friendlies, mostly to watch Kovačić.

Also rating players for how they play in their NT is one of the most stupid things you could ever do, not that he's anything to write home about with Croatia either.

In the Internet Football World most people don't rate Perišić, in fact I bet most people don't even know who he is. Not that this matters anyway, most people are wrong about most things except for the painfully obvious, and even then.

By the way, again why do you people rate Perišić, he's mediocre at pretty much everything except his aerial play from what I've seem, what am I missing?

Bolded part is not true in my opinion.

Worst case scenario he's a winger who has good dribbling skills, good technique, playmaker who is also an aerial threat. Despite Croatia's early elimination, Perišić was ranked as the second-best performing player of the group stage by FIFA.

Perišić is an average dribbler at best, his technique is ordinary, and in no world is he a playmaker, he's a mediocre passer for a winger, even worst if you consider him a playmaker who are usually the better passers in a team.

And a short tournament like the World Cup, even less if don't get out of a group stage are useless for determining a player's level. There has been countless of players that impress in a few games in the World Cup group stage, to never be heard of again after the tournament, some even don't achieve more in their careers than playing in shitty leagues in Asia and the Middle East.

So having some notable performances at the World Cup, which I don't even agree Perišić's were is nothing to write home about given it can be achieved by anyone that arrives in great form and things click for them at the right moment even though their real level could be close to second rate European leagues or Asian, Middle East leagues level than the world elite.

This clearly is coming down to a difference of opinion. Your talking about a starter on the 2nd best German team, who has won the Bundesliga, starter for Croatian national team, 5 goals and 6 assists in 24 league apps. I really don't see your issue with the player. I get it that you think he's overrated but it seems like he pissed in your cheerios and then took your dog out back and put him down.

Only other player I would consider is Perotti. Not a fan of Salah and what he will cost with wages for his short goal scoring spree.

CdS:While waiting for Salah's anwser Inter have contacted Perisic's agent who doesn't want to renew his contract which lasts till 2017 and is intrigued by Inter's offer.
Inter prefer Perisic to Cuadrado for the 4-3-3 Mancini has in mind.Wolfsburg want 15-20mil which is a lot for a player that had some injury trouble last season and who scored 7 goals last season.

Inter, Salah near the permanence in purple: Perisic the first alternative
As reported by GazzettaTV, given that Mohamed Salah seems to be to remain close to Florence's Inter Roberto Mancini would already thinking about the alternatives. The first name on the list of Aid would be related to Ivan Perisic even if the cost of your card, 20 million euro, would be scaring the Nerazzurri who will try to lower the claims of Wolfsburg to try to strengthen the squad for next season . The alternative would be instead Stevan Jovetic, but also in this case the greatest obstacle would be that relating to the price.

Figured I'd bring it up since I've been so vocal about Perisic but if we are linked to Mertens and actually going after him, I would prefer Mertens to Perisic. Even if it means dealing with De Laurentiis...

SECRET MEETING FOR PERISIC: THERE IS an OK! ALSO OPENS WOLFSBURG. CHOSEN HIM AND ...

Today Aid has tried to keep secret the meeting with the entourage of Perisic. The meeting, however, took place in Milan in the evening, as reported by Sky Sports.

The meeting went very well. The player accepted the project. Now you will speak with Wolfsburg that still opened with the loan obligation (18 / 20 million), figures much lower than those for lead Cuadrado away from Chelsea, who did not want to lose the money invested in January. That's why Inter have tacked on Perisic, but also as a matter of passport: Inter will be able only a non-EU player and the choice would be between Cuadrado and Jovetic. Inter then try to take Perisic and then will focus on Jovetic.

I don't believe Sky a word tbh...

Fuck Perisic, the guy isn't fast, average dribbler at best, doesn't score a lot, the worst option from all the names we're being linked to.

really hope we dont sign him. i havent seen him recently but hes been really mediocre when i caught some of his games a year or two ago. perisic isnt as bad as some of the players we've seen wear the inter jersey in recent years, but hes an EL level player at the very best. not even close to worth sacrificing shaqiri for, or 18 mill euros for that matter.

Nice, talking about comparing Perisic to Cuadrado. Obviously Perisic costs less. Thing is he should cost much less than what he costs at the moment.

Between Jovetic and Cuadrado check Ivan Perisic, the Croatian is closer to Inter, it can be said that it is currently the favorite for the role of external attack. From the point of view of places in pink Perisic it is then Croatian Community. Inter now has already reached an agreement with both the player himself and his entourage with Wolfsburg, very different thing for Cuadrado that is far from reaching an agreement with the leadership of Inter. Piero Aid met in Milan on staff and have reached an agreement. Perisic has accepted both the technical project that the sporting and economic Inter and now Inter must have the approval of Wolfsburg. The Germans are prone to a loan with an obligation to redeem about 18 million euro.

Shaqiri out, Perisic in :palm:

I dont mind buying Jovetic for Shaqiri but I do mind buying Perisic for Shaqiri. Shaqiri is younger and more talented than Perisic!

If we keep Shaqiri AND buy Perisic it would be fine of course.

It seems to me that it is Shaqiri out and Perisic+Jovetic/Cuadrado in, where Jovetic is most likely.

So Perisic would play on the right wing?
