Can’t believe Milan are actually contenders this year. We better wake the fuck up or we will be 10+ points behind quickly.

They don't have the squad depth to fight for the Scudetto. They're just in good form. As an Inter fan, you should know this won't last. Napoli are a much bigger threat for the Scudetto.

But if we don't wake the fuck up none of this is going to matter as we won't be anywhere near the Scudetto battle.

You keep talking about squad depth

But we have also won games when the likes of Hakan, Ibra, Rebic and Romagnoli havent been on the pitch.

I mean, if Inter reaply had better squad depth, shouldnt they be winning games when any of Hakimi, Lukaku, Skriniar et all are out injured? Especially considering you werent exactly playing top teams (bar us). I mean, both against Parma and Fiorentina, Inter needed to put their starters in to get the points.

The only positions we really dont have squad depth in is midfield and CBs. Two positions that I am sure will be addressed in Jan.

About that Zlatan acrobatic goal. Nice kick but it was "dangerous play" he almost kicked Udinese defenders head off.

They don't have the squad depth to fight for the Scudetto.

CF: Ibra, Leao, Rebic

AMs/wingers: Rebic, Hakan, Diaz, Hauge, Saelemaekers, Castillejo, Leao, Krunic

CDM: Kessie, Bennacer, Tonali, Krunic

Fullbacks: Theo, Calabria, Dalot, Conti

CBs: Kjaer, Romagnoli, Gabbia, Duarte, Musacchio

GKs: Donnarummas, Tatarusanu

The CF options are fantastic.

AM and winger options are ridiculously good.

The midfield could need an extra DM, but that could be fixed in the winter market.

Fullback options are very good.

3 solid CBs. Musacchio could be a 4th if he's the same player after the injuries. Not sure about Duarte.

3 solid GKs compared to what the likes of Liverpool are fielding when their first keeper is out.

This is the most balanced squad Milan has had since 2006.

Inter are dropping points because the squad depth in defense is horrible. We had our starting cbs available only in one game. We dropped points because we needed to score 3 or 4 goals to win the games. It happened against Fiorentina but it can't happen all the time. We also played against Lazio.

Now about your team.

Hakan hasn't missed a single Serie A game post covid. Zero.

Zlatan missed games against Crotone and Spezia. Not exactly the best teams of the league.

With Rebic you're lucky it's the only position where you have a quality option on the bench in Leao.

Romagnoli was out against Bologna, Crotone and Spezia.

Even you admit your squad depth in midfield and cbs isn't good enough. If you believe a bench of Dalot, Conti, Gabbia, Musacchio, Duarte, Diaz, Hauge, Castillejo, Leao, Tonali and Krunic is good enough for the Scudetto fine by me. Imo it isn't and it will be proven during the season. Time will tell who's right.

I am not worried about Milan at all . Good for them, enjoy it while it lasts. They’ll sneak into 4th. Definitely more worried about Napoli. The problem is it was clear to see Rube where going to start slow and struggle early on this season and it was the best opportunity to open up a gap on them and instead they’re gonna be 2pts ahead still. And we’re lucky Pirlo is a rookie cos if it was any other Rube team of the past years the league would be done for already.

Well, Milan really are showing that they ought to be taken seriously. Put names on paper all you want, results are results, at the end of the day.

And I agree that it's not just them, but also Napoli, Atalanta, and last but not least jube are still jube, they have some players like Ronaldo to carry their team despite how Pirlo inexperienced is.

I can’t believe I have to read on an Inter forum that Milan have their best squad since 2006(!!). Is trolling like that tolerated here?

Milan are riding some luck at the moment. They were lucky not to concede in the first 20 minutes of the match. Look at the stats of Milan's game against Udinese and compare it to Inter's match v. Parma. Eventually Milan's luck will run out and their shortcomings will become more obvious.

So when do you think our "unluckiness" will run out?

I disagree about Napoli tbh. Their attack is unbelievably inefficient and will consistently struggle to score goals. Osimhen will need to step up HUGELY and be more proficient, and I don't see that happening right now. Just raw talent player.

i got to repost what i said yesterday

you guys need to understand that these small teams play for their lives against top teams because they know all eyes are on them and they want to look good to advance their careers and raise their salaries.

against these teams, you need to have that technical player who finishes them off. (scudetto player like Ibrahimovic, ronaldo etc)
if you have a team that plays fucking crosses, there is no fucking way you'll be sure you're gonna win against the small teams because physically you know they are gonna be even more ready than you and they'll defend for the bread of their children.

also nice try gervinho everytime playing like fucking messi against us, but still won't sign your road runner ass.

i don't see any creative/technical player of this caliber at inter, that's why we'll never win easily against bus parking teams.
i had my hopes on eriksen but he's not delivering :(

Genius move by Pirlo to bring Ronaldo in the 2nd half. Changed the match.
