A red card or a few yellow cards for Lazio players tonight would be immensely appreciated.

That's a bit weird for an Inter fan to look into the future. We hardly make ends meet and you want Milan to worry about the post Ibra stage.

Nah, I'm just wondering what will happen to them since Ibra is such a big boost for them.

Us, without both Lukaku and Lautaro in form, we just look horrible. Lautaro looks a bit better right now, but we don't have anybody to play instead of Lukaku or Lautaro. Sanchez should be used sparringly :D

It's Napoli, Lazio, Roma and Inter battling for top4 spots, and Juve and Milan fighting for Scudetto.

CVC consortium in threat to give £1.4bn Serie A deal red card

A consortium involving Advent and CVC has told Italy's top clubs to ratify a deal or see it fall apart, Sky News understands.

A private equity consortium is threatening to abandon a £1.4bn deal to shake up Italian football's broadcast rights amid uncertainty over the intentions of some of the league's top clubs.

Sky News has learnt that a group of investors including Advent International and CVC Capital Partners wrote to Serie A's 20 clubs late last week to say that they would withdraw their offer without immediate ratification of the agreement.

The consortium, which also includes FSI, an Italian fund, agreed a deal with Serie A to create a new broadcast rights entity last autumn.

If completed, the transaction would pave the way for a new approach to media coverage of players such as Juventus's Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who plays for AC Milan.

The consortium would own roughly 10% of the new commercial entity.

Sources said that clubs including Juventus and Internazionale - which shares the San Siro stadium with AC Milan - had opted against voting for the deal with the consortium at a meeting last Thursday.

A further summit has been scheduled for this week, and sources said that without immediate approval of the deal, the consortium was likely to walk away.

Sports industry figures said it was unclear whether the decision of clubs such as Juventus not to give explicit backing to the consortium's proposal related to administrative concerns.

One executive said it seemed likely that ongoing discussions about a new European super league format - revealed by Sky News last October - are likely to have been a factor in the delay.

None of those involved in the deal could be reached for comment on Sunday.

The way Napoli are playing, ADL may regret overturning the 3-0 verdict in the other Juve leg. If that game is played now, it could get worse.

It is a bit annoying how often Juve/Milan play teams when they are out of form, while we play teams when they are in their peak form of the season. Just look at our next 3 games - we play Lazio (the most points in Serie A in 2021?), then Milan (just rediscovered their best form) and then Genoa (who are only next to Juve in points since their new coach took over). WTF?

No it couldn’t. Juventus are still very much stumbling along - like, even against Roma they were on the back-foot although admittedly they look more solid overall, whilst Napoli had like a trillion shots on target and hit the woodwork twice against Genoa.

Although it's just like Juventus to face a side like Napoli with both of their fucking starting center-backs out, I'm pretty sure they won't pummel them into the ground, much less win by more than three goals.

Eh. Napoli are like us - unexpectedly they'll pull a win out of their ass but when you want them to do you a favor, they'll shit it.

Yeah, there's no way Napoli will steal any points from this match. They are fucking peak-losers, Insigne and co.

Napoli will also play Rrahmani Maksimovic in defence who have both been awful this season. Although I guess Garrison could play Di Lorenzo there but either way their defence will be terrible with the absences.

I hope De Laurentiis fires Gattuso after the Coppa game. It's the only way Napoli can get anything in the match against Juve. This Napoli looks dead.

What a shit show it was! It's gonna be 5-0 if Napoli keep playing like this.

Send the ball to the right aimlessly, send the ball to the left aimlessly then lose the ball as usual. Just like Inter in banter era :yao:

Great result sofar. Atalanta on 'their day' will make Pirlo play deep 532 with a bus parked infront of Polish gk/Buffon. Gasperini , if he plays his cards right, will wipe his ass with El Maestro

Chiellini slaps Napoli defender im the face and VAR gives Napoli a pen. When Chesny already caught the ball.

Karma is a bitch  They got the same shit to eliminate us.

For all the complaints about VAR, it's still better to have it than not. Chiellini roundhouse slapped Rrhamani in the face and would have gotten away with it in the old days. Instead penalty and 1-0 to Napoli.

Napoli have been the superior team. Let's see what creative way they find to blow it.
