Strootman arrived in Rome, fucking hell if Roma finally get a concrete balanced style of play they're going to give anyone problems.

This is my prediction

1. Inter :)
2. Juventus
3. Fiorentina
4. Milan
5. Napoli
6. Roma
7. Lazio
8. Udinese
9. Parma
10. Catania

I don't think Juve is going to make it a third time. Pirlo is getting old and slow, along with Barzagli, Buffon's reflexes are slipping each day. Lichsteiner is almost 30 and won't have much stamina.

I think Juve's downfall will be their lack of stamina. They're definitely going to raise the bar in Europe this season, and that will be the end of them.

If Mazzari got a mediocre winger like Cavani and turned him into a world class CF, and took an average at most Napoli side to compete for second and almost to QF of CL in their first season of season, imagine what he could do with our team.

Napoli's players are mediocre, it's the system that makes their qualities shine. Our lack of European competition will help us immensely.

With Isla, Nainggolan, Guarin, Kovacic, Icardi, Palacio, Belfodil, Handa, we have a good squad.

That being said no one expected Juventus to be that good first season, and lack of Europe helped them out. Mazzari is a hell of a better coach than Conte, and he's never been fired in his life.

I could be horribly wrong, but this time I have a good feeling that I haven't had since Mourinho's 2009 squad.

Fapu, if we win the title this year I'll buy you next season's jersey, but it's not going to happen. According to Handanovic Juve and Fiorentina have the best squads.

I feel that every team in the top half have improved their squad, except Napoli, especially since is they replaced Mazzarri with that fat muppet. They can probably replace Cavani adequately, but they won't survive Rafa.

Rubentus was in the same exact position as us. They got a Serie A coach from a decent team, who implemented back 3, and took a team who finished mid-table, into 1st place, mainly due to no European burdens. Juve are going to be mainly focused on CL this season.

Then again, the problem is the refs.

Rafa is not a bad coach, he just came to Inter at the worst time possible for him, Mou leaving and fans wanting more results. I'd give him another chance if we never got Mazzarri, who is having a hard fucking job as it is, hopefully he will rebuild this Inter side into something stronger, maybe we shall be league contenders after two, three seasons. We just have to rebuild and get rid of the old and lame.

Sucks that Cavani left Seie a. Another star leaving, sigh...

This is what DeLa had to say, wise words tbh.

"If it wasn't for that clause, I wouldn't have sold him, not even for €70 million," de Laurentiis said. "It's a question of principle. You can’t just go around buying everything—it's ethically wrong. The problem is these clubs are sponsored by companies who flaunt absurd sums of money."

Fiorentina isn't getting better, Pajo? How can you say that? Their team is stacked, it's easily the most talented side they've had since returning to Serie A imo

I didn't suggest Fiorentina 'isn't getting better'. What I mean is that they aren't as 'outstandingly' better that people seem to be implying. Without knowing what Napoli are going to look like Under Benitez, I still don't think Fiorentina will achieve better than their 4th finish of last season.

Pajo, I mixed you up with I4E, I blame the flag.

Blame the Flag ??? he's got more badges than a four star general and our avatars are now different. I thought that would be enough to differentiate us ? That and I4E doesn't spell Pajo :p

Napoli have €124.5m at their disposal for new players, club President Aurelio De Laurentiis has claimed.

Knowing Rafa's history with transfers I wouldn't be so happy if I was Napoli fan. But we will see what they gonna do...

I think there will be many spanish players in Napoli before this transfer window end. We all know how succesfull spanish players have been in Serie a.

A lot of money. Doubt they'll spend that much but it certainly gives them some options. Replacing Cavani has to be foremost in their thoughts. Dzeko and Damiao rumors could pick up again for them. Definitely need to reinforce their central midfield depth too. The Swiss trio they have is nothing to write home about even though Inler is a boss.

I think DeLa is just talking a bit of shit, but it's not like they didn't have money to spend before selling Cavani. Between the CL money and a wage bill half the size of Juve/Milan/Inter/Roma (based on last season at least), they can certainly afford to spend.

Have MIlan just bought Erikson???

Not good, if true. They were missing a quality trequartista, and now they have one...

You mean Erkisen...

The Danish and Ajax supporters doesn't respect him that much, most are saying he is overhyped.

I liked him every time i've seen him in CL/EL. He moved a lot and showed decent skill. But seen him in Denmark few times, he was utter shit, saw him live once too. I hope he plays like he does for his NT :D

He is just 21 and he has the responsibility to carry his National team hopes. Not so fair on him tbh. He played superbly against England when he was just 19 I think.

I think he will improve a lot and will play well for his NT. Sometimes it's very hard to perform for NT when the players hardly play together. I think he will be an excellent addition for Milan side. Him and Honda along with El Shaarawy, Balotelli, Niang have some serious potential. Honda is bit older but the move like this, moving to big European club might make him to step up a level.

Milan, Napoli, Juve have done well in the market and for a surprise Inter have done well too. Oh and Fiorentina have done well too. Looks like Juve will win the league but rest all improved very much.

Is this move to Milan a done deal or rumour ? I thought he was on his way to Liverpool.
