None of them were leading scorer in a top league. Yes Serie A is still a top league. For me it's EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, than a tremendous drop off in general quality.
True there is a risk, but the point is that Sturridge with 22 goals would go for more than 19 mil now that is for sure. He isn't going anywhere for less than 30 if he's sold today, IMO.
Sure, but they weren't far off either. Michu had 18 in 35, benteke had 19 in 34... that's not LOADS less than Immobile's 22.
Also dont forget in the Premiership they have to compete with Suarez, Van Persie (23, 26 respectively), Bale (21 that season). Benteke and Michu were 4th and 5th top scorers in 12/13.

What? Really you don't see it in La Liga? It seems to me that Real sells players with buyback clauses all the time! Morata is a good example of this right now. They probably won't sell him unless there is some sort of buyback clause in that contract.
They won't be developed on loan, but instead they'll join their academy, and when they show enough promise to play in La Liga, they can always sell them to a lower team with a buyback clause incase he does develop into a boss.

Because who the fuck in Serie A wants to work with Juve. Juve would've screwed anybody in Italy that was interested in him. But outside of Serie A they'd be more realistic in their negotiations
Morata is a great example.
He's different because he's from the Real youth team. Juventus arent going to go and sign a whole bunch of players, then immediately sell them again with clauses (well, they might do, but it'd be a precedent).
Buy-back clauses are generally used for one's on youth players, Morata's been at Real now for 5 or 6 years.
If Juve behaviour like Barca and Real on the buy-back clauses, then expect people like Giovinco, Mannone, Leali perhaps to be affected. But it wont affect Berardi, Zaza, Immobile, for as far as I'm aware, Real nor Barca have ever signed someone just to sell him again immediately with a buy-back clause?
And even if they have, it's certainly not *prolific*.
