3. What do you currently do (job/profession etc) ? I work as a software engineer.

4. What are your non-football hobbies/interests? I play cricket and football on weekends and some board games. On weekdays I play FM.

5. Where do you live? Bangalore, India.

6. When did you start supporting Man Utd and why? Have you ever been to Manchester/Old Trafford?
I don't remember the exact year but it was late 90s. I said few times as after 1999 and sometimes as 1998 but thing is I don't remember the exact year(as i didn't know shit about league and CL).I just watched some random games as I didn't even know when they were playing and at what time.

I randomly caught ManUtd game when flipping the channel, there was lot of talk about Beckham so started watching to see what the hype is all about. Started loving the game (before that I was just a cricket fan and didn't like football at all) and then started to watch them regularly. I didn't know shit about them and the time they played so missed many games. I remember my friend telling me ManUtd won CL, I was like WTF is that. So after that I started to learn about league and CL and started to watch games with bit more interest. So I would say it was after 1999 only.

No, never been to Old trafford because of various reasons. But for sure I will go at least for one match.

7. What is your favorite memory of Man Utd and who is/was your favorite player over the years?

2008 CL finals but it's very close with 2006-07 league win. We didn't win league for 4 years and Chelsea were growing and we were knocked out of CL group stages, it was looking very gloomy then Ronaldo-Rooney happened. It was fantastic to watch ManUtd that season.

I started following ManUtd because of Beckham, so he is and was my hero. Model professional. If I go only by performance (ignoring the reasons for choosing ManUtd) then it's between Scholes and Beckham.

8. Do you follow/like any other clubs besides Man Utd? How much do you like Inter?

I like underdogs and teams that operate on tight budgets. I just pick a team in the league ( I don't support, I just root for them)

In PL I like Everton.
Serie A: Inter (not because they are underdogs, I had soft spot for them when they were massive underachievers and because of the GREAT Zanetti). Used to watch them rarely but I read most of the news about them and how they played as we didn't have proper Serie A coverage back then.
Bundesliga: Dortmund as they are up against giants Bayern
La Liga: Valencia.

I like Inter a lot, nowhere near close to ManUtd but if they play against any team apart from ManUtd, I will root for them. I was as happy as next Inter fan when they won CL as I love Zanetti and he is one of my all time favorite player.

9. If you're going to a bar, who are the 5 fif members to join you and why ?

I don't drink, Yes. I don't. Never got into that. Still if I have to take 5 I will go with:

Updates on Darren Fletcher?

Heard the operation was successful and he won't have the same problem. He might join preseason. It will be near impossible to be back to his peak fitness and the form he was in 2008-09 season. Such a asset to have him back to full fitness.

Optimistic for next season?

I'm secretly optimistic . Gutted that SAF has retired but also bit exciting about new era. Not favorites to win league for sure as we lost SAF and Moyes is making a huge step up from Everton to ManUtd but we have some good players who knows how to win.

Very weird. Never knew a ManUtd team without him in the dugout. At the same time it's bit exciting also too see how we build for the future. At last Manutd fans will experience the roller coaster ride of hiring and firing managers, backroom staff changes

Do you think United will be the same or close to the same?
I don't think so. SAF was one off, what he did with ManUtd was very special. 13 league titles and people often forget about his success with Aberdeen. He was special manager and it will be huge loss for ManUtd.

How do you feel about City and Pellegrino?

I think they will do well. Pellegrini's record in CL is very good (with small teams) and he was very unlucky at Madrid. He can make City the force they want to be. I rate him very highly.

Tbh No. I have seen lot of players who are right arm bowlers and left hand batsman and also other way around.

In a gully cricket, I always feel sort of awkward playing left arm bowlers though as I rarely play against them, also I kind of suck bowling against left hand batsman, good that we won't be playing cricket

Trust me David Beckham must be one of the most underrated player. People just think he is a marketing icon and he is hyped way too much but apart from that he is also bloody good player. Can pick pass like any player we have now, his crossing and set pieces were just brilliant. Not to forget his shooting from distance. He has assisted or scored 214 goals in 264 games, which is just fantastic record. I agree he is hyped way too much by media but people just underrated him because of that.
