2. I'm from the UK but I also lived in South Africa for a long while.

4. I think we're better off with De Boer than with Mancini, especially if Mancini wanted an extension and full power over the transfer market. I'd also rather try out new risks than repeat old, established risks that don't have enough reward. At the same time I'd rather we chose someone else but what's done is done. Based on what he showed at Ajax I think he would fall short of what we need to build a team that can regularly qualify for CL. To be fair I'm confident he has the right mentality going into this job and I don't think we'll see him capitulate like Mancini has often done with us. It's also a new club and a new challenge so we'll see how he adapts, whatever he showed at Ajax doesn't necessarily prove anything concrete about what he'll show with us. It's definitely difficult for him coming in so late in the summer so as a general rule we should be patient. He's also going to have to adapt to a squad that doesn't have a lot of ball playing ability at the back.

5. One realistic signing... that's a hard one. At the beginning of the window I'd have probably said Sebastian Rode because I really think we need an upgrade over Medel. Gabriel Jesus, Vazquez, Pjaca, Dembele were other names that weren't outside of our reach in terms of transfer fee or wages. I honestly don't know what you can call realistic at this point because I have no idea how much we can spend and even if we can afford the move doesn't mean it'll happen. Below 5 mill, I like Clement Lenglet a lot based on the few times I've seen him play and everything I've heard about him. Between 5 mill and 15 mill, I think Blind or Augusto Fernandez could be solid buys. Above that, probably Oliver Torres of Atletico Madrid.

6. It's possible we can finish anywhere on the table but I'm thinking around 5th place right now.

7. Difficult to say because there are so many great posters around here. Yourself, Shaun, Pajo, browha, Wings, Universe along with many, many others. Y&h, BJ, Wallace, N4L... it'd be unfair to just pick out one. JS and dyna are good too.

8. Probably N4L honestly but again there are a lot of people here that make a conversation about football worthwhile at least to me.

9. Right now I'm still in school but as of right now I work at a consumer electronics store

Is Icardi worth 60 million Euros in today's market?

Difficult to say because different players can be worth different amounts of money to different clubs. A lot of it also depends on where that money goes and whether we can necessarily build the best possible squad with Icardi or with the money. For us, in this market, I feel we could build a better team with the cash. A lot of it also depends on how Icardi's market value will develop in the future (which can depend on how the market develops and how Icardi develops).

If the moderator's/Admin's had a duel to the death, would anyone stand a chance against Shaun and his weird Kiwi fighting skills? Alternatively, is there any chance I4E isn't the first one to die?

Hmmmm. The ones I'm familiar with are Handoyo, Shaun, vasilios, vitomins, Cafe, I4E, Pajo, and thatdude. Shaun obviously has experience but I don't know if anyone else has any fighting experience. I4E seems like a tough dude so I'm not too sure he'd be the first one to go down. I think I'll put my money on what I know and go with Shaun. :work:

I think a lot of what I say about Juve and Inter is taken out of context. To me fans shouldn't cover their ears when similar evidence they use against one club holds against their club. Honestly my main point is that football is corrupt as hell and something needs to change. Nearly everything I say about Juve is usually taken out of context though.

The award is under threat but I think a lot of it depends on how people are feeling in Oscars season, not how they're feeling now. Maybe I'll just shit on the team in the game threads. Fuck De Boer has a good ring to it. Maybe start bashing some of our new signings or start talking down that there's no point to even think about the team's future anymore in the realistic thread... seriously though, I don't think I'm the most pessimistic guy around here but I wasn't surprised at all that I got the award.

Inter is more dirty than Juve? Depends what you mean by that. Both clubs have definitely been involved in dirty shit no matter what definition you use when it comes to cheating, but there's no reason pointing the finger at two rotten apples on a rotten tree in a rotten farm.

There was an Italian dude who came to the forum after the Wolfsburg game two seasons ago saying that we can still qualify for CL and anyone that doesn't believe that is a fake Inter fan and a Juventino, then at the end of the season he was saying that the team will be eternally shit and every single player we have is shit or something like that. He wrote we would concede 5 goals to Genoa after we lost to Juve. There was also another dude who called me a bitch when I said our midfield didn't have enough creativity or something like that.

Right now I don't think I'd slap anyone though.
