Who will be the one, which don Beppe will sacrifice in order to finance our next mercato? I put 2 options available in the poll, because it could be two cheaper players instead.

Here is my predictions:

Very high chance - Thuram and Dumbfries. The first one can bring us a huge plusvalenza potentially and I think he won't stall to leave, if a proper offer comes. Dumfries from another hand is maybe the main suspect, as he wants bigger salary, and his contract is about to expire soon. I don't know how good offer will get for him though.

High chance - Bastoni. I love him, but if we receive a big offer for him, I'm pretty sure that Marotta will accept it. I'm not sure how Bastoni will react, but considering we tried to sell him once, I won't be surprised if he agree to leave this time.

Fair chance - I'd put Asllani here, because I think that we a big offer comes for him (25mln+) he will be sold immediately.

Low chance - Hakan, Barella, Dimarco, Lautaro. I'm pretty sure that we'll receive offers for some of those players (maybe for all of them), but I don't think that anyone of them will accept, even if the club is open to sell. Maybe Lautaro could be tempted by Real or City, but I don't believe that they will want to splash huge money for him.

Very low chance - All of the rest.

Denzel is the most favorite lamb. Thuram , he clicks so well with Lauti you don't wanna break that so soon. Obv if the clause moneys ( 95M€) are coming in, there's no way we're gonna say no.

I think there would be more of a chance for Hakan to accept an offer than Bastoni. Young Italians rarely leave and when they do, it usually doesn't work out well.

Regarding Thuram, I don't think our management would be too keen on selling him, at least not this year. At the moment, we really only have two reliable forwards out of 4. Selling Thuram would mean we need 3 strikers - most likely two, as I don't see us getting out of Arnautovic's contract.

I don't think Dumfries is worth nearly enough to cover our losses. I'm convinced he'll leave, but it will be part of something bigger. I'll tentatively go with Dumfries and Asllani.

The problem in this kind of discussions is that people are overly optimistic and think we could just sell the players we want to keep the least e.g. Dumfries.

The truth is this wouldn't be a problem at all if we only sold the players we were indifferent about. But each sale so far has hurt, so think about the players you really want to keep, they will be the ones to go.

I know @ChillBro will dismiss this as the latest attack in a long running smear campaign but there’s no way anyone offers a cent above 12m for Asllani let alone 25+

If anything, the guys market value has probably declined or barely held steady since we bought him for 10-12m. Simply hasn’t played or showed enough and we are not juventus where we can flash some young shitter for 20 minutes and suddenly, mysteriously, heptuple their value.

I daresay Bisseck has shown a glimpse of a higher ceiling than Asllani but to be completely fair they both need more time. Point is I won’t be surprised if Bisseck is seen, pound-for-pound, as a significantly better prospect than Asllani by seasons end.

Barella seemed like the clear option if Frattessi developed like
People hoped but hasn’t yet. Massive gamble to take

Selling for how much isn't the go-to. We should sacrifice in a way that does not risk shooting ourselves in the foot.
For instance, have we won much without Barella? No, Inzaghi does not even dare to try that. How about without Dumfries? Lots.
You see whom we should sell:)

Depends on the management decision. If any biggest offers come into a player right now, a sale couldn't be avoided.

There are some positions that we need to update. I bet Agoume is gone and we won't even get any substantial money for him. Dumfries is gone for SURE. The problem is that he won't really bring enough money either. At most 30m.

I guess Djalo will solve the defence problem, but I feel like we'll need one more RWB and LWB. One extra LWB so that we have 4 players for the LCB and LWB positions and Darmian never has to play on that side again.

I think we are going to spend the most money on Dumfries' replacement, while we'll try to go cheap on strikers and risk it again. I don't care who is the fourth option, it can be Sanchez for all I care. That third option in attack is going to be a problem that we won't solve unless if sell one of our starters for such a huge amount that we can't say no.

This is a hard decision. If Bastoni wasn't Italian, I'd say he was the one to go. I don't think Beppe would try to forcefully sell Bastoni.

Insanity no matter how Frattesi would have developed.

Frattesi isn't going to be a player like Barella, probably ever. They are different type of midfielders.

There are some rumors from Tuttoshit that Chelsea or Liverpool might be interested in Hakan.
I don't think that he will refuse EPL money if the club is good enough.
So, 40 for Hakan and 30 for Dumbfries could resolve our struggles for a while.

Dumfries for sure… I also believe the Arabs will come and tempt one of Hakan or Mkhi with an offer too good to refuse for all parties.

Obviously if anybody offers more than 7 or 8mil for Mkhi it would be silly to not take that one. It wouldn't make our budget a lot bigger, but when somebody offer money for an old player, you take it. Just look Bologna and Arnautović.

I don't think it's going to happen, but if it did, Marotta would be happy with that. Especially after we didn't get paid for Skriniar

Mkhi has played the most minutes we are giving him a new contract with same wages for next season + open for another season. He isn't leaving especially for 7-8 million. Safest of all our players when it comes to people we are willing to sell or get rid of unless. Inzaghi leaves then Mkhi will not be needed.

I hoping for an insane Saudi offer for Hakan. 2nd best muslim player after Salah. They want to splash big money and get the best 2. Hope they buy him and its 100+ million if Salah was 200m offer to Liverpool. Selling our MF general for 40m makes 0 sense. No one to replace him and going into the market in January no cheaper options out there. Unless Chelsea wants to do a Enzo or Caicedo for Hakan + Dumfries trade.

Bastoni or Dimarco are way more likely to go. Young and big EPL teams will want them and give us a lot for them. Dumfries isn't wanted and we have been shopping him around forever.

Best case scenario is Saudis give us insane money for Hakan. Worst case we sell Barella or Lautaro to cover our loses (tho both players want to stay and are happy here + our best 2 guys so would just be idiotic to get rid of them)

I have extreme doubts that Fede wants to play anywhere else other than the club he’s supported and loved since a child. But money does talk.

As much as I like Bastoni, I think he’ll be the sacrificial lamb. Augusto hasn’t looked out of place at LCB and someone like Buongiorno could slide right into that role as well.

But how we are gonna replace him? amrabat will be in last year contract, but he is not same quality. Man U apparently want to get rid of Casimero, but he is a different type of player. I don't recall other decent DPL or DM.
