They will not, the factor of playing at the highest level remains(CL), the climate in the country, the national adaptation of players, players from Latin America are easier to adapt in Italy and Spain than in the same England and the climate is good, also Italian players do not go willingly to other championships, and the Italian soccer school is the best on the planet.
Even bigger salaries in the EPL has a negative factor, they then can not sell players who have not played in another championship and they start to boil in the same cauldron.
Sure but Coutinho and Emi Martinez for example are currently playing for Aston Villa. Maybe I exaggerated a tad with the 20th team but mid table prem teams will comfortably surpass us in the coming years as much as it hurts for some people here to admit

I Highly doubt the stadium will only cost 500 million. Emirates stadium, arsenals Homeground costed 750 and that was like 15 years ago.
Arsenal stadium cost 570m euros [back then] including stuff that are not directly related to the stadium project but were a necessity to get the approval, such as things for the local community and paying for relocating whomever was displaced.

Tottenham stadium cost a lot more and is far more modern, was north of a billion euros but they gambled on the NFL getting 4 games a year there or even a team. It also enables them to host England or international rugby games so that gives them extra revenue options. London, even a shitty area like Tottenham, is far more expensive than a 'grey area' in Milano.

Depending on how big the project, I'm guessing it should reach 800m. But we may be called to only finance the actual stadium and not the entire project which would be partly municipal.

Well, the first ten teams in the EPL are not rubber teams, all the players of the planet will not fit there.

The unfortunate thing is that with the football financial situations across Europe (salaries, agents, stadiums etc), the super duper league will raise it's ugly head again!

Probably the owners will own the stadium not the club.

@rfU care to offer your knowledge on the Schalke debt situation if you're aware of it? I heard that their large debt was a case of them needing to refinance their stadium (built in 2001) shortly after.

@Il Drago are you aware of this?

This is all I could find in English, from 2005.

You're right, heck just about all the stadiums and arenas in the US have a brand association/right. The College bowl games are also sponsored by some company.

I don't mean the sponsorship, I mean the unsustainable debt levels it has created.

Fortunately until the Premiership has 20 CL spots, we will always have more allure than Newcastle/etc. Newcastle to the CL will be a 3 year plan minimum imho and realistically 5+
If they don't get relegated. If they do it will very likely take 8 - 10 years.

No, i didn't know that. As far as i know they had completed stadium loan repayment back in 2019. It's quite possible since they were well backed by Tönnies and Gazprom and yet they have ended with over 200m debt. Of course they were badly managed, especially in the years Heidel was the sporting director, but still. Lots of debt. I could only find these articles about their financial situation:

Who's going to own the new stadium? The clubs or the city?

@SwissRamble twitter

Inter's current finace on focus.

Not even Lukaku-Hakimi sales are not counted in, match day income 0 basically due to heavy restrictions , player write offs etc.

We're gonna get alot better numbers next time 100%. Attendance back, new more lucrative sponsorships.

It's nice to see a breakdown of the loss aas I wassnt entirely sure. Exceptionals (e.g. write downs of chinese sponsoraship nonpayment) wasnt as high as I thought it might be.

tl;dr, wages increased substantially but expect that to drop a decent amount over the next 18 months, matchday impacts us to at least 60m or so revenue, player amortisation iis quite high but should also drop, CLR16 qualification will be really important for us. The new sposnors will make a substantial difference but we need to sese what the longer term game is as they're quite short term

it's mad that Correa is so expensive. His purchase is looking worse and worse.

Really shitty transfer, but our numbers aint that high. If we still want to compete we can not reduce it so much more.
