Thing that worries me is the way we lost. They were clearly a better team, after they took the lead we looked totally harmless. This was'nt one of those matches when opposition score and take the lead and then we start to play, miss dozen of chances. No, we made fucking Sassuolo look like superior team. Not optimist for this season after game like this.
Sassoulo just humiliated Juve and they’ve had great success at the Meazza over the years. It’s never easy with them no matter what players they’ve lost.

Also Augusto whipped in a great ball for Frattesi when down 2-1 that unfortunately he did not control well enough otherwise he probably would have buried it.

They could have defeated juve 5-0, it still should not effect us... on the end of the day, they are sassuolo and we are Inter... this team should have dominated them. There is no excuse for playing this poor for 3 straight games... if the coach cant motivate the team to play these kind of games vs worse teams, then he needs to leave... and if the player is tired, which was obvious some were, then rest then. Playing with some bench players should be good enough to defeat Empoli and Sassuolo.. but nope, cause there is no tactics and zero adjustments during the game. We stick to only one plan and thats it.

I feel last night was lost on the drawing board in the locker room way before the pitch even got into play, this is all on Inzaghi's set-up and some of the worst subs this season yet.

Credit to Sassuolo, I was especially impressed with how decent their long shots were, they aren't afraid to try breaking up defenses from afar and we were lucky a few of those rockets didn't go in too.

I missed the match tonight, what the fuck happened?

Need to bounce back quickly and leave this behind. Shit happens, but feels like our players have gotten a little too high and full of themselves. They need to be brought down and put in a competent performance.

Damn it.
This is my interpretation aswell. Players got too content with the winning, thought they don't have to work hard every match. Thought 1-0 is enough, this match is in the books. Because the first half was totally fine, the second half was the issue.

Sucks to lose in front of the home fans, but positive thing from this is it's hopefully a wakeup call for everyone. Down to earth signal.

Teams like Sassuolo and Bologna they should be prioritized as much as clashes vs Roma and Napoli. We should have pics from our defeats in the locker room to make us mad. We should have a darts game there with Berardi's face .

Scudetto is a long long fight and we are only at the 6th matchday. Funnily enough City lost too yesterday.

Barella and Basto will never play consistently well under him. The lack of heart from this two has been a major impact on the teams consistency ever since Inzaghi was hired. We either have to sack Inzaghi or part ways with those two. Or just settle for this shitshow season in season
wtf is going on. Sassuolo for us is like Cryptonite for Superman. and it’s not like we lost 1-4 or so. we still could have drawed that game. 5 wins out of 6 games is fine for me. you usually don't go invincible season like it's a walk in the park

It’s actually more Berardi that is our crytonite we are turning into his second favourite victim after Milan

We have Bologna coming next week's weekend. Though it's in Meazza and usually we have mutilated them there. The past 3 occassions is 3W and the goal difference is 15-3. But we need to be ready, the match is right before NT break.

Look I may be wrong and I hope I'm wrong, but feel like Inter's honeymoon period is over.
This will be hard fought game - A draw or a narrow victory for Inter.
I'am saddened about the loss and I don't like to say 'told you so' - but papa delaurentis has a good gutfeeling about things. ;)
The games against Empoli and Sociedad fueled my gutfeeling that Inter would struggle.
When Inzaghi first began at Inter the team played, at the start, excellent football aswell. Then afterwards it started to detoriate. So it's not something that we haven't seen yet.

The next game against Salernitana should be 'easier', but I see Inter struggling for a victory there aswell (0-2). The games against Benfica and Bologna has draw written all over it. Maybe a loss against Benfica.

Inter are pazza after all, can't expect consistency - expect another hard fought scudetto challenge. Knowing Inter can fuck up at home against Sassuolo should serve as a stern message for everyone that the 2nd star won't be easy to get.

Can I put this here? At least 2 crosses of Miki should have been converted to easy goals. I believe it was Lautaro and Dimarco. And then he misplaced 2 passes in the second half and became an instant trash.
The cross to Dimarco was from Bastoni

ok. I remember 2 clear crosses, one for Lautaro. Maybe the other was for Thuram? I don't count the cross to Acerbi, he would not have reached it.

man you can lose against title contenders on their turfs throughout the season, that's totally ok. But when you lose to fucking Sassuolo at home every season that's a big sign you are not winning shit. You have Juve, Napoli, Lazio, Milan, Atalanta, Roma away games where the possibility of losing is 80%. That's an additional 6 losses, add to that tough teams like Fiorentina and Udinese and it's over. You can't waste your error limits on small teams like Sassuolo

But we already trashed Milan 5-1. So, apart from Napoli and Jube away, I don't think that the rest are so good to beat us. From those 6 games, I believe that is quite realistic to get 3 wins at least.

When we are at our best, I believe we have fair chances at winning all of our games in Serie A. The problem is, we aren't exactly at our best most of the time and Inzaghi isn't helping either.
