Quite depressing watching the game tonight. Sampdoria were atrocious and yet we could only get a point. Our biggest problem is we seem to have no creativity at all going forward. Adriano should have come on much earlier and we he did he was playing as a midfielder.....We need a big improvement if we are going to beat Roma midweek.

Yeah, I hope he doesn't keep him:lol:

As much as I would like that it would be a moyor mistake. If Moratti fires Mancio we will probaly see Sven Goran. I rather keep mancio till the end of the season.

Viera isn't offside since when figo crosses the ball he is onside and crespo never touches the ball.

I think crespo did. I have to see it again though.

Mikkel what game were you watching? The team? Mancini to blame for this one?
The team worked their ass off, even losers like Dacourt who I wanted off at the 2nd half was putting in tremendous work. Javier Zanetti was a GOD out there! Ibra, all of them, Viera winning balls, and holding it and distributing it excellently between the numerous players. We ran Sampdoria out of the San Siro, they were clinging to nothing.

There was no WAY Viera was offside. Not even in any instance, because when the ball came over the top he was onside, when hit the ball he was inline!

The game was an officiating nightmare.

Good post, Neon. I agree, during the last half hour we were playing like true champions and we were constantly getting screwed. Vieira wasn't offisde, and if you call that a push by Adriano then you don't know the definition of a push. We deserved all 3 points, nothing less. This game will not be good for our morale, especially having to play in the toughest stadium in Italy in midweek.

Cesar 5: Didn't seem secure, and I think that's like 10 penalties in a row that he barely even moves to save the ball.

Cordoba 5.5: I didn't think it was a penalty, it was a 50-50 call and in cases like that you should give it to the defender. Stupid yellow card and unecessary fouls.

Materazzi 6.5: Better than Cordoba, but still the unecessary fouls.

Maicon 6: 1st half was good, I don't like his defending. He's technically gifted...that's about it.

Zanetti 7.5: Our best player in the 2nd half, playing out of position and defending like a true fullback should. When we were pressing for a goal, no one was trying harder than him, winning corners and free kicks.

Dacourt & Vieira 5.5: Unimpressed, f-cking stupid mispasses and giveaways in midfield, made up for it during the last half hour but the other 60 min were garbage.

Stankovic 4.5: I thought he was horrible, and he should be the last person on the team taking free kicks.

Mariano 6.5: I like the fact that he hustles and defends well. Showed that he's a very solid dribbler, I think he has great potential to offer us.

Crespo 5.5: He gets the extra .5 because he loses his marker and creates space for Ibra and Figo...should've scored, though.

Zlatan 7.5: One of our few consistent players throughout the game, always looked dangerous and always gave hell to the Sampdoria defense. Set-up Crespo alot who should've done better.

Figo 6.5: We needed someone to create chances for us, and he's the only player available on the bench that could've done it. Almost scored off a header too. I just don't like the fact that our only player like that is 34 years old.

Adriano 6.5: The images of him on the bench standing up and paying attention to the game very closely showed that he was really up to this game, he wanted to play and he seemed lively the first minute he stepped on the pitch. I just hope this was the beginning of what could be Adriano's regain of form.

Well I gotta see that Vieira's disallowed goal again before I'm certain of it.

And we were lucky BTW that Cordoba stayed on pitch, should get a yellow if you are the reason for penalty. :p

NO Eriksson please, he has even less balls than Mancini.

I truely hope that Moratti is giving him a warning, I don't think sacking him just after 4 games is fair. But I won't complain if he do, but still we have to get a coach before we take such a drastic step, and it shouldn't be someone who isn't better then Mancini. of the obvious fact that we could just keep him then. But the problem is that it will be very hard to find someone who fit that bill. :boxing:

can't believe I woke up 5am in a Sunday morning to watch this piece of crap.

a few things, I love how some people say we worked our asses of and did everything we could....no we didn't, I saw the game, I'm not blind...ohh wait....you means its what we do off the ball, the amount of times we run around like headless chooks that wins games, does it? if it does, then Stankovic is the best player in the history of the game.

Also, I have no doubts that Mancio is a Capello wannabe....why else would he persist with two defensive midfielders at home against a very mediocre team? fark that sh1ts me, at least play Stankovic in the middle, you're gonna have to against Bayern, give him some experience or lead up playing there before you just jump him in a scene where he hasn't read the script for a long time.

Some other notes, Javier Zanetti, speechless, only a moron of a coach (and I assure no other in the history of the game) would play arguably the greatest right back in the history of the game at left back, it's almost as if Mancini is saying..."no, I promise, just watch Maicon is really really good....I signed him guys....."....fark off carnt!

I'm not even gonna discuss the ref.
Also interesting how we played awesome against Fiorentina without Stankovic and then when the "workhorse of all workhorses" comes in and plays against Sporting & Sampdoria, we fark up. Don't get me wrong, he's still the best player in the world (off the ball....)

Really? I was actually serious about that. His display was perhaps one of the VERY few positive aspects about our game tonight!

It's not good to see your team lose in the week, and then to draw with thanks to an own goal by the opposition. Inter really need to focus.

LOL Couldnt agree more with you on that.... Honestly we may as well sell him to Gobbi so that he can help them getting promoted.
Currently he is being wasted in our team… If things doesn’t change hopefully he can ask for a transfer in Jan or something!

Adri gets in in the last 12 minutes and that's it, how come we don't make a single attacking sub until there is only 12 minutes left?

Mancio is always becoming a more mystery than an answer

****ing azzholes ... i dont know whats with them ... and i would never anymore prefer Crespo instead of Adriano ... i dont know how Moratti ruined transfer market with sale of Martins and Pizarro ... Inter desperatly need players like them ... and Ibra he was our best player together with Zanetti ... i dont know why Mancini is prefering Maicon ... im not seeing anything special in him ... he should use Grosso ... and let Zanetti on the right ...

I think that the result was fair one since Sampdoria worked really hard and they did everything they could to get something out of this game.

Having said so, I think Inter is way off being considered as a "true" contender for the scudetto. I know we're only two games into the season, but by now I'm convinced that Mancini won't be able to lead this star-studded team to glory. Yes, I named the guy who I really see is the "problem" of this team.

I've never criticised him... never... but now I think that he had enough time to produce "better" things with this team and it seems he will never be able to do so.

Nevertheless, Mancio won some "unimportant" trophies so I would like to thank for that, but to me he's time is up.

This is the dissallowed goal of Adriano for the people who didn't see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7Z_Y_TnnWA

Mike is right, Adriano was paying a lot of attention to the match all the time, he could be playing right now for Manchester United, Real Madrid or Chelsea but he stayed here CAUSE HE WANTS. He should start almost all the matches along with Ibrahimovic even if any of these 2 are real finishers, Crespo should have a role like he had in Chelsea and nothing more.

The player just had to fall, so that the TV capture the fall, nothing else. The ref didn't buy anything. If he was tricked in that incident, he wouldn't behave against us like he did, and we would have won the game easy...... Unfortunately, all the Calciopoli has done, is send juventus one division down(not that it bothers me a lot )And it shows those that felt that we'll finally get 50-50 calls, that the big corruption is still up there. Moggi was just the weakest link in the situation, the "easy fish". The other corruptions have big pockets and are defended with all means. Unfortunately there's not enough evidence... But I'm hopeful that by 2009, Milan will be playing in Serie C, to pay for this corrupt systems :)

After today, do you think Ibra and Viera are ready to re-think the results of the last two seasons?
