Typical Inter. When the pressure is on, we fail. Can't say I'm really surprised. We've been so complacent for these last two games and the 1st half of this game.

Gotta love this team! :D

Disgusting performance by Inter. Ibrahimovic and Adriano were piss poor, Cruz is probably the slowest player I've ever seen and we should make Recoba our 3rd striker not that idiot. Figo was dirt poor, Zanetti was poor and most of all our defence on that 3rd goal made me want to vomit.

Forza ragazzi we are champions but we sure didn't play like it today. Too bad we can't hear Juve laughing all the way from Serie B.

I don't know, new players came and it seems that we are still the same. Maybe we needed a player with big balls like Vieira for the Valencia and this game, because the ones that we have (had) have small ones.
Dear Lord how much have we missed him in the middle of the pitch...

He's unnoticable but his dirty work and presence, those long reaching legs and dominating physique, have been invaluable to us this season.

2nd goal Cambiasso and that ridiculous wall with more holes in it than the Pakistanian NT's defence.

Javier Zanetti,
Only Inter can beat Inter, first of all we didn't lose against roma(FIRST OF ALL), INTER LOST TO THEMSELVES! Being too relaxed for 2 last matches, less motivation and aggresive coz the big gap with Roma, finally being nervous, the players played like shit(credit only goes to Julio Cesar) and then lost to Roma.
This is the main weakness since I've been supporting Inter for 9 years. When it comes to the big matches, Inter played like a bunch of scared and confuse players. Always don't have the right mentality. This is what Inter have to solve. We need a commanding and hot headed players( I love JZ, but he's not hot headed) like Roy Keane for example. And a coach like Ferguson who'll give their players a hair dryer treatment. (God, I can't believe I compiment MU, coz I hate them!)
This is what Inter need.......
I also think that it's useless if we buy Quaresma,Deco,Cassano,Suazo, if we don't have a player like Roy Keane. (my suggestion is Gerrard....)

Forza INTER!!! Come on boys, we still can do it! Never give up!

Does everyone have now suddenly forgotten how we managed to beat Bilan, Roma, Palermo, Viola, Lazio all away throughout the season! Talk about disgraceful performances. We owned all those big matches. Unbeaten season would have been perfect, but as before someone mentioned, its part of the game. No need to trash talk the team the way you`re all doing it.

Some of you needs to learn how to deal with disapointments better. Slagging off the team everytime you lose is disgraceful fan culture. Critique is one thing, insults another. Especially when you're 13 points up..

the game was a major dissapointment, true

but hey,to fkn act like its the end of the world???

to be so UNGRATFUL to Zlatan is truelly unbelivable,he is the MAN this season
he is the one who has transformed us TENFOLD THIS SEASON

to be ungrateful to any of the boys or Mancio is sacrilige(spellcheck)

its like pissing on the Inter jersey

ASK YOURSELVES A QUESTIONS GENTS,

what would have happened if the game was played at the original date?

what would have happened if the serie a wasnt put on hold for 2 weeks>?what would have happened if our games werent subject to no spectators?

noone has brought these issues up in this forum NEVER,not when it happened not ever

these freaking issues ruined our campaign not only in the CL but also the scudetto,

whilst the whole of europe was training and playing matches we were left in limbo

everything has a schedule and demand, whether its in life or in football
you plan for something and then people tell you to wait

Inter was dominating and setting the tempo this year until the unfortunate incidents in sicily, after that we werent the same team

our players have been like LIONS this season,

if anything i blame the cokcsucking italian football federation for breaking our momentum, for turning our flawless season to shambles

well said Interista, this is like a storm in the tea cup compred to what we have been through

dont get me wrong im dissapointed but i was more dissapointed with the way we have been treated by the lega calcio

the top representative of Italian football this season didnt get any support from its governing body,FULL STOP

There're so many boardmates that have become a "fans" of Inter this season. They don't realize the need of patience for being an Interista. Next time when we are defeated, we shall put up these few words up ASAP.

Chill people, we were bound to lose eventually.

probably the best 2nd half we've played in a long time until about the 40th minute.

We stopped that hot Roma team and easily could of gone ahead. only to fall behind to a typical totti deflection when his done shit all game.

im proud of the guys, we may of lsot but we didnt lose a final just a battle but we still win the war when we win the scudetto and then thrash roma in the tim cup! forza ragazzi

We need a player like Vieira in our midfield.

I wonder how did we play with only Pizarro and Cambiasso in the midfield last season.

Believe it or not, Veron was our Vieira last season. We can't always win big games without them.

Inter's game yesterday changed alot when Dacourt played, his mentality motivated the players, but unfortunately, Dacourt alone wasn't enough.

Here comes Gattuso's job in Milan.

No team in the world can beat the combinaton of (Stankovic + Vieira + Dacourt + Zanetti). If one of them is missed, the midfield isn't the same.

Strangely enough I don’t feel too gutted. The only disappointment last night was that we lost our unbeaten record and that we failed to celebrate in front of our own fans. But the latter can be done in 2 weeks time so not a big issue really. Also credit to CN regarding the coreo – just great to watch.:star:

As Jimmy mentioned it, I too was pissed off about Adri’s dive and consequently the penalty. His stupid dive to me somehow is a reflection of his low self confidence because 2 years ago he would have rounded the keeper and slotted the ball into the net. Instead he took a dive. Again last night he tried to take players on and failed miserably – he is just way too slow.

As for the game again itself we were zzzzzz’ing for the first half again, and you can’t do that against a team like Roma. Although inferior to us yet they aren’t Palermo either. I think we are paying the price of a touch of over confidence and the lack of physical fitness after such season.

I remember one journalist asking Mancini a few weeks ago, why Maicon doesn’t make his usual runs as often as he used to. His reply touched upon the physical issue that I just mentioned. I hope someone else also noticed this but several times last night we saw a huge empty gap on the right hand side, but no Maicon was there to be seen. And then the few times that he managed to go forward the Roma defence was all over the place and instantly we had a goal scoring chance due to his crosses or shots. Playing with a diamond midfield it is crucial to have your full backs pushing up ass they have done so through out the season. Unfortunately it seems as if Maicon is running out of gas, while Maxwell isn’t fit, and Grosso isn’t just capable of putting more than 1 decent cross per game.

Also credit to Spalletti for his pre and post match interviews. And finally I wonder why not many Roma fans made the journey north to watch the game as most of their section was empty!?

I believe the game starting at 17:30 had an effect on this. Romans still have to come from Rome (duh :p), so they didn't have enough time I believe ;)

oh yes, a valid point indeed! Specially considering the game was not "that" crucial to them. So I guess we can assume that most the few present were unemployed romanisti! ;)
