Yep, I have a gut feeling that we'll fail to win this we always manage to disappoint a full San Siro.

Here’s a silly question.

Economically what is better for us - to qualify to the next round of champions league and eventually lose OR to fail to qualify for champions next stage, and manage to go very very far in europa (semi finals or even finals)?

I think the Europa League final is worth the round of 16 from the CL, something like that..

Nothing silly about your question mate.

Going to last 16 stage in CL is healthier financially and publicly in terms of advertising our brand because no one gives a fuck about EL, it's the competition of losers not champions. Besides there is only 8% chance we could win the EL or even get far in it, I even doubt we could win our first challenge there. Giving players, coach and management would be less enthusiastic after slipping away the very close CL qualification chance.

On the other hand, what makes you so sure that if we went to knockouts in CL we'll most definitely lose? With the return of Nainggolan and hopefully with some midfield reinforcements generated by the enthusiasm of going through to the last 16 by the management, and hopefully with some luck not drawing to a European big gun (I mean we've already had two pain in the ass in the group stage), and last but not least with Spalletti growing some balls and learning from his very frequent mistakes of late. I personally think Inter providing the said ifs can go far in the CL respectively.

And healthier in relation to the amount of matches, EL has an extra two leg round which is ridiculous considering that these teams dont have the depth of CL teams.

meh overrated...

wot?
Finally, we have a presenter who is fluent in english, italian, spanish and swedish for our youtube videos.
There is a huge leap in quality since Astrid and the other guy with fluent english, Patrick Kendrick started working with Inter Media House.

D'Ambrosio in the press conference with Spalletti, oh god no :yao2:

Edit: Just to pile on the possible bad news, sport.es reports that Barca's lineup tomorrow is going to look something like this: Cillesen, Semedo, Vermaelen, Chumi, Miranda, Denis Suárez, Vidal, Aleñá, Munir, Coutinho, Dembele.

Messi and Suarez may take the place of any of the front 3.

If that's the lineup they put out then we are done.

Barca will win even if that lineup is out there, tottenham suck, we just didn't play properly last match. The real worry is what we will do against psv.

I don't know how you can possibly claim this after watching our team play them for 180 minutes and come out even on goals.

Even though i am optimistic about Tuesday i am afraid i have to agree with you. This is a lineup i would expect to see in a Copa del Rey match against a team from Segunda, not in a CL match at Camp Nou. I can't see Spurs failing to beat this lineup.
