i definatly think mou will play almost the same team as he did in the derby..they need to play more together in order to get the team to gel more since the team is 50% new and i think it is fundimental to ply them together before the barcelona game..lets not forget that we still do want the scudetto and seeing that juve might drop points against lazio we should not be complacent and play a weaker team

We might see a 433 here. Milito would play since he had enough rest. Sneijder should play one half in a 3 man midfield along with Motta and Muntari. I hope Deki gets a rest but he would surely play.

The only players Mourinho trusts having in front of the defence are Cuchu, Deki and Capitano. He has never tried Muntari or Vieira in those positions even though they are natural DMs.

This is actually a nice formation, I would look forward to see. Mostly because Santon and Mario are finaly there, and also because we would see more of Sneijder.

Although what rockball sugests could be the case too - 433. The main reason for it would be the Bari game. Bari was suppose to come to play attacking game, and we saw how it ended when the whistle was first blown.

It would be a waste to start with 4-4-2, just for 30 minutes later, to change it to 4-3-3.

But rockball said, Javier is a player Jose trusts there. That's not true. Javier never played as a single deffensive midfielder there under Jose, at least I don't remember a single game like that. The only time I remember Javier playing at a deffensive midfielder position, was when we played 4-2-3-1, and Cuchu played next to him.

I would say Jose trusts 2 people there:

1. Cuchu
2. Dejan, even though he is better suited as box-to-box midfielder.

Knowing Dejans character I think he will play. If we'll go with 3 in the midfielder, I would like to see 1 half with Motta and Sneijder on the Dejans sides.

I don't think Mourinho is too worried about pissing off balotelli. I see the same side against milan, but with Santon playing.

No Dejan, and no Arna, and no Mancini.

Javier could be dropped as press sugests, as he played 180 min with the NT, and he will definetly not miss an important game like Barca.

Lucio is pretty much certain. I want Santon on the left, and Chivu in the center. Cristian is playing great this year, and he can't be dropped. Walter had from what I've heard not great game in the last friendly.

It also depends a lot on how Parma plays. Do they play high balls a lot, counters etc. But as Cristian is faster than Walter, I think Cristian will play.

I want to see Santon on the left, and he might be granted his debut, since all the talk in the media about him not playing and all.

The player in front of deffense will be deffinetly Vieira. There is no other possibility... although maybe Cristian... ?

I won't even touch the attack and midfield

There is a lot of options, it will be fascinating to see what Jose opted to do. Lets hope it will be a good game, we WILL SCORE SOON, and Parma will have to open a little, allowing us to score couple more.

That's the good thing, Parma plays open attacking football, not an anti-football 11 players behind the ball tactic (ala Rangers, Chelsea and especially BARI).

Jokes aside, I'd like Samuel to play because ideally he needs to be in top match fitness for Barcelona, and he didn't go on NT duty.

Since I'm almost certain Mou will use Lucio, I'll accept he's likely to start.

Chivu is playing really well at the moment for both us and Romania so I'd like to see him play too. However since I don't want Chivu dropped, but I still want Santon to get playing time, I'd ideally like to see Chivu infront of the defence, especially since Stankovic will not play, and have Santon play on the left.

Or perhaps I'm being too risky in wanting us to use our 3 best CB's at once?

This is the defence of our team I'd really like to see, I won't guess what the rest of the team will be.
