Today I was watching ManU - Liverpool, ManU started the game with Rooney, Valencia, Chicharito and Nani all on the bench, I was confused and shocked at the same time. I was like, what is Fergie thinking?! It's a tough away match against your rival and you leave your best players out?! I thought maybe they are all injured but, later they all came in and played!

Despite all those players being on the the bench, ManU still played a solid match, they managed a 1-1 draw and the goal that they conceded was a freekick and a stupid mistake from Giggs.

How could ManU leave all these great players on the bench and still manage to put on a great performance against one of the best teams in EPL, their rival and away from home?!

Watching that game kind of made me think, how if even one of our players gets injured we blame the injury for our loss and act like nothing happened.

It's just the preseason.. our players just got back from WC and they are tired.. we just lost our coach, our best player is injured, and so and so on.

This team is finished, doesn't matter what manager we get. We need fresh blood, we need proven players!
Please spare me the 'we don't have money' and 'FFP' talk. We had enough money to spend on Alvarez didn't we? Banega and Vidal were both cheaper than Alvarez and see how they are performing and how is Alvarez performing!
Also with this performance I don't think we need to worry about FFP since most probably we are not going to make it to CL next year.

Money is only part of the problem, a small part. But we always like to blame something or someone else for our loss rather than ourselves just to feel better! We don't want to admit that we suck!

Our biggest problem is our management and their stupid decisions. Look at our purchases this summer, are they making any contribution to this team? do they have any positive impact? the answer is NO!!
Our management behaves the exact same way that we play football! slow and blames others whenever they lose!

When we want a player first we let the whole world know, so if they weren't interested before, can be interested now! then we haggle for a month and a half, then the player gets bored and joins another club and we just fool ourselves by saying stuff like "yes! he wanted to join the other club from the beginning there was nothing we could've done about it'", then only a week left till transfer window closes so we get whatever we can for a ridiculous price, call it a great mercato, be happy and get on with our stupid lives!

Look at Real Madrid, they bought Sahin out of the blue and before the transfermaket even gets started for only 10 million!

We got Alvarez for 11 mil, Jonathan for 5 mil and Forlan for 5 mil. That's 21 mil we could've spent on one world class midfielder!

Dortmund was asking for 22 million for Gotze!

You say Jonathan and Alvarez are furture investments? well if you don't have enough money to eat today do you start saving up for tomorrow? also, what is our primavera for? isn't it for future?

Inter, the only club that has never been relegated to Serie B. Thanks to our management's great decisions, we are almost there!

Well if you would actually watch UTD instead of watching one game an talking out of your ass you would know Fergie's rotation policy. His players are all ready to step up in any game cause most of them have a fair amount of matches in their feet thank's to Fergies rotation.Unlike us,who play our youngsters when starters get injured and by some miracle get chosen ahead of Chivu/Stankovic/Muntari.

Comparing apples with pears here.

Man U has no competition in that league ! (up until now maybe with the emergence of Mancini City and its Arab Oil money).

Man U can afford a rotation policy cos the Wigan's, West Brom's and Rovers etc etc are no match for them.

The Catania's and Siena's are harder to beat.

Who's comparing,I'm replying to him mentioning UTD as an example. And that's fu*ing crazy,EPL is the most competitive league among the top teams in the world.Other teams don't have the same rotation policy as well...Which is why UTD is such a poor example.Smaller teams in Serie A are harder to beat because of the nature of our football. Our small teams are defensively solid and technical while EPL's are fast and physical.

Are you retarded?

I'm sorry for saying that but if you read my post properly you'd understand that me and you are talking about the same thing here. I know about Fergie's rotation. What I meant was that they can rotate their players, they have enough quality players to do that unlike us who as you said, only play our youngsters when our starters get injured.

Even if I didn't know about Fergie's rotation so what? all what I said was that ManU can leave their best players on the bench and still play a great football against big teams like Liverpool, that shows the team has quality! rotation or no rotation!

Remember last year when Sneijder said that he's been playing too many games and he is tired of football?

Agree with what you say in this post except for the part that "EPL is the most competitive league among the top teams in the world".

Since EPL's inception (in 1992), There has been 4 winners ! and MU has won 12 of the 19 ! imagine Roman Abramovich did'nt turn up at Chelsea with his truck loads of money ! what competition would MU have had ?

in the same period Serie A has had 5 with Milan having the most (7) !

Its easy for MU to rest players and play youngsters against the likes of Wigan, West Brom etc etc. We don't have the luxury of this in Serie A !

What's been happening in the past 20 years really has no significant part in today's hierarchy. We don't even know what's the hierarchy in Serie A right now,In Spain you have Barca and Madrid and in Bundesliga there's just Bayern.EPL has UTD,Chelsea,City,Arsenal,Liverpool and Tottenham who can potentially more or less all challenge for the tittle apart from Arsenal. That's mighty oligopoly...

The highlighted ones have zero chance. As for Spain, your right ! its just a 2 club competition !

What i'm trying to say is it's far more difficult in the Serie A ! Its tough to play any club in Serie A then Play in CL game 3-4 days later !

I was once said I want Moratti to leave the management and some of guys here wanted me to be banned. But for me, Moratti can be the owner but not the President. I respect Moratti for what he ahs done for Inter from Javier Zanetti to Ronaldo to Vieri to Crespo to Eto'o to Sneijder to Diego Forlan. However, there is a bit of disappointment on the other side of the leaderships. I understand his desire to keep the club at balance to get his pocket balance as well. However, we can't just stay like this. It wasn't long ago when we were down at the bottom like this. With a team full of stars we dropped the relegation zone in 2000/2001 or before that. The problem that I see here is that Moratti doesn't really understand what the club actually needs nor the board. Cmiiw, but I found a balance Inter when Facchetti was the President and Moratti was on his side. Facchetti-Moratti made a great duo to me. We can blame that it was just our luck that calciopoli happened and we became stronger since then. But, let's be honest, Inter with Facchetti as a President was a club that gets bigger and stronger every year even after he passed away until we hit the top notch in 2010. Compared to Moratti era from 1998-2004 (seasons that I witnessed myself) Inter went downwards esp in 2000/2001. I'm not asking for Facchetti to come back or Moratti to sell Inter. I'm asking for Moratti to step back for a while and let someone who knows what the club needs to bring it up to higher levels. I'm not sure who, but Roby Baggio came into my mind or maybe Marco Materazzi.

Is Inter going to Serie B? No. I have my believe that it will never happen. Why? Because we were down there once and we survived with a weaker team. Today, we have superstars in the team. Let's be honest, this Inter don't need any coach, they just need to get the desire to win. The reason why we conceding goals are mostly because lack of concentration not lack of qualities. However, the new players are not adapting well too. I have my beliefs on the new players but they just don't perform, even Nagatomo drops. Forlan has not understood the game play. Zarate disappointed me bcs lack of spirit to win. Alvarez has quality but lack of physical shape. Jonny is good in dribbling but lack of technical abilities like crossing.

So, how Ranieri's gonna survive us from relegation? He needs to improve these players performance but on top of everything he has to win our players trusts. I still remember how Leonardo, an AC BILAN legend, came and lead our bench and our players supported him and we won Coppa Italia. Given last seasons circumstances, we should be happy with the result.

I think there are 2 options the management can choose now bring someone who can repair the broken pieces with high discipline, e.g Fabio Capello or build a new team. I would opt for both if possible and I would sell Sneijder if necessary because I have a gut he lost his desire to play since Mourinho left.

About the money, I don't believe we don't have money. We just don't spend the money correctly as Seyyedo pointed.

Lastly, I seriously miss Marco Materazzi. He is very useful in this situation. I love Cordoba but I wished I saw him leaving instead of Matrix. Matrix will slap each of our players playing like last night. I wish our old players could love us as much as Matrix does. Matrix chose to leave insteand of benching and making easy money like Muntari and Cordoba are doing.

yup, nothing new really...

our management are amateurs, our scouts are amateurs, our coaches are amateurs, our players are amateurs, we are all amateurs. and on top of that we have no money basically.

so we either end up midtable or below the mid, or moratti sells the club to some super-rich illuminati guy who is ready to invest like crazy.

See what I mean?
excuses..

http://www.fcinternews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=61347

I know referee mistakes has hurt us but like it or not they are part of the game, sometimes they are with us and sometimes against us.

Also,
If you think about it some of these mistakes are actually our mistakes. Take for instance the penalty against Catania, why did we even let the Catania player be one one one with the keeper? why was Lucio running after the attacker instead of being in front of him?!
