i think chivu playing the CDM role is perfect because it allows maicon and maxwell to attack and let chivu stay back with the other two cb's

Wow, I am surprised by the optimism here. Okay we are doing great at the moment and Bilan is doing bad... but this is by no means an easy match. Milan might lack depth and subs but when taking on them 11 vs 11, they could be as good as us. We shouldnt underestimate Milan and consider our midfield, this will be a very very difficult match. I am not saying I dont have faith in Inter but this match need to be taken with precaution. I really hope Samuel will guard Kaka well. FORZZA INTER!!

Is this the home or away game for us? Judging by Milan's stupendous home record, I think I'd rather hope for it to be an away game. :p But seriously, it gets no better than this. Two days before Christmas and our beloved team can give us a better present than anything we'll possibly get on Christmas day.... with the exception of maybe a new car or a big-breasted model. I'm fkn stoked and can't wait for Sunday to arrive!

Milan merda!

I hope Cesar doesn't play, not after his crosses in the gobbi match.

Chivu will play as a DM for sure. Now we know that there's someone to block Kaka for good.

We won't have a ceativity problem (like we had against Cagliari), because Zlatan will be back. Suazo's speed will be more useful than you imagine , specially against an old slow team like Milan.

I don't see any of Milan's strikers scoring any goal, so it won't make a difference if Samuel played or Materazzi.

Just let Chivu mark Kaka, and Milan have no other solutions.

No Ronaldo, no Pato. Just Gilardino and Inzaghi, couldn't get any easier.

Nesta will be busy marking Zlatan, and probably Kaladze or Bonera will be marking Cruz (yeah right :dielaugh: ), so who is left to mark Suazo? :D Favalli? :dielaugh:

No wait, Favalli will have to deal with Maicon first.

Just think about it, there's no better formation than 4-3-3 against Milan, with Zlatan, Cruz and Suazo.

Don't worry about our midfield. Milan already lack any kind of attacking + hard working midifelders other than Kaka. All what they have is Gattuso, Ambrosini and Brocchi. Those three have no idea what attacking is.

Seedorf is crap and lucky, Cordoba will take care of him.

What is left is Pirlo. Shouldn't be a problem with Zanetti and Cambiasso in the midfield.

Maxwell Vs Cafu should be fun to watch. :D (or is it Oddo, the best average RB in Italy?)

I hate that some of us are overconfident...This is the toughest game for us and not just because we are facing Milan but because we are without serious first teamers..

We need to contain Kaka and not put ourselves in deadball situations. I think Suazo should be on the bench and then unleash him with 25 minutes to go.

even if the boys are down with 1 or 2 goals, Ibra, Cruz or Suazo can level in the last 10-15 minutes when all the 30+ bilanisti are tired.
or mancini can send up rivas to treat kaká as he deserves it. i want that p*ssy DEAD

I agree with Ziyad. Let's not overconfident destroy us. I know what the statistic and standing are right now. But this is DERBY. And that will be the strongest motivation for all acmerda players.

I'm personally nervous over this. Weird feeling, excited, but nervous. Last derby that I was able to watch was a few yrs back (don't remember exact yr), when Bobo scored first (with his knee, I think), and acmerda equalized it.

So let's hope our players will go into the field with the right mentality. Not overconfident, but not overburden as well. Just like how they went with the last few games.

FORZA INTER!!!

Never been so confident before a derby, but I think Mancio will be feeling it, lets hope our team has a good start and we score early, I dont think we will let Milan back into the game if we manage to score.

I ****ing hate goal.com! They truly hate Inter and they enjoy people criticizing us. Like last week they said that Mancini said that the club world cup was 'absurd' but in fact he did no such thing! I hope we win and shut those bastards up!

This will be a tough game for sure.

I don't think we should start Materazzi, he still need more time to get into matchfitness.

I also don't want us to do a 4-3-3, Milans strength is in the midfield so I don't want to give them space there.

Ibra - Cruz (Suazo in after 60 mins or so, depending on how it looks)

Jimenez (or Solari.. just don't like what I've seen sofar of this guy)

Zanetti - Chivu - Cambiasso

Maxwell - Cordoba - Samuel - Maicon

Hopefully a good game with a better result.

Diamond shape midfield with Chivu taking care of Kaka or Seedorf (whoever is deeper with Cordoba, Samuel or Marco taking care of the other & their lone striker) and Cambiasso playing behind Ibra & Cruz.
Cuchu will harass Pirlo all game giving him no time to distribute, dispossessing Pirlo is an easy counter attack.

Ideal result:
Hoping to fix up the 4-3 result from last year as it was flattering to them, would be great to spank them when they're on a high.
Ideally Suazo will come of the bench for the last 20 minutes after we're already up and put on a counter attacking cameo just to highlight to Gallani & Berlusconi what they missed out on. ;)
Ambrosini gets taken out or red carded for citing the CN and in desperation they bring on Hamburglar and he goes down with his first touch. :D

Am I asking for too much? Ok just a win will do.

No to 4-3-3.

Deki did that last season  , we'll miss him.

I hope Jimenez will be ready, at least for bench.
And Chivu playing DM is best thing that happend to Inter in last few weeks.
I hope he can continue doing well, and allowing MAw and Maicon go forward more cause those 2 are great in attack, our best wingers:)

Milan is Kaka.

If we put man mark on him(Chivu, Esteban, whatever), we're good.

If Mancio knows that we'll be alright.

I was never(NEVER) in my life so confident before the derby. If that's the case for an Inter fan it has to mean something, and that is that we are now better, much better than those pussies.

If we play to our abilities we'll win this game with ease.

Sure, this is derby and merda players will be on their toes all the game. But don't forget our players know this is derby too.

I repeat again. Milan is Kaka. Mark Kaka and we'll be just fine.

ps. This is Serie A, not CL. In Serie A, Inter rules. That's as simple as that.

Like almost everyone has said, if we keep Kaká out of the game it'll be an easy game. But don't forget the bitch seedorf, he's still pretty good.

FORZA INTER, let's take big step towards the scudetto! :interscarf:
