According to you. Truth is Kovacic has been played all over the park in sporadic fitz and starts, so it's not remotely surprising that he's had a pretty poor season so far. He still shows what he's capable of though. Anything less than Hernanes, Kovacic and Shaqiri from the start against Milan is cowardly.

We all have high expectations of Kovacic, myself included, but what we're doing to him right now is atrocious. The team is mediocre, but let him settle. He's just 20 years old and the way he's been shunted in and out of the starting lineup in various positions is just fucking setting him up to fail.

I don't doubt he's got the talent and I don't say he shouldn't play but we have seen on so many occasions that he would be very nervous to start on a bigger stage.
