Man of the Match: Il Capitano

Brillant game by our beloved captain. Passed, defended and made some great runs. There's no doubt that this has been his best match of the season by far.

And I'll agree, Seba was awful. There's just no other words to decribe him. Thankfully he's suspended for next match after picking up another yellow in this one.

I would also like to point out that Veron has started in every match despite against Atalanta, which was not so surprisingly the other from our two wins this season in Serie A.

I swear to u guys that my brother was watching and telling me is the Inter keeper even playing cuz u cant see him,the ball is all in Lazio's side.I said if u see the Inter keeper on cam it will surely be a goal...4 minutes later they scored... :yuck:

Lets get one thing clear they didnt deserve any points...We deserved all three and this is getting frustrating to us and the players. You could see that when JZ put his hand on his head and the tension that came upon the rest after that...

Veron needs to rest maybe if he does he can actually be more useful, same goes with Adriano who will explode once again if he does get any rest...And Jimmy the strange thing about Adriano is that he played like a RW in the first half and a LW in the second taking lots of effort out of him...He should also learn to pass from one touch as the rest of the players collapse on him...

Davids sucked in the first but actually looked better in the second.Cambiasso as usual was superbbbbb :star: The only one who is performing well consistently...JZ also played well i thought..

Miha is too slow although he looked somewhat better, but another team could have torched us if they had the players to abuse his slowness..I thought maybe his insertion in the back could prove useful for once as we need some experience in leading the defense line when we are ahead so we dont concede..How wrongly optimistic i was :yuck:

Cambiassos performances is at least something that cheers me up. We have a back-bone for many years I hope now: Burdisso (23 y) - Cambiasso (24) - Adriano (22). Inter should build around these and Oba Martins of course.

I hope Mancini comes out firing in the press conference not the usual "We can make up the difference soon" and things of that sort...

I want him to issue some kind of ergency to all the players and start benching anyone that doesnt play well not caring about names, reputations or past friendships...

I am losing it,i really cant believe we drew 7 out of 9 with one of our wins coming in the last minute strike by Adriano...Right now i am thinking maybe we should change our jerseys to the CL ones, they seem to make us play better...

Mancio lashes out:

"I don't like Trefoloni as a referee, I don't know why he gave the free kick which led to Lazio 's goal. It was non-existent. Trefoloni always does everything he can to annoy someone, he sees everything, then... Never mind, nothing changes.

"It's clear that it's our fault, and we were also a bit unlucky because Lazio did nothing today. And we can't not finish off matches."

The ref was below average, the linesman really bad...I couldnt believe that Recoba miss towards the end wasnt called a corner when it obviously was deflected way off target and u could see it from anywhere... :yuck:

The result is not the ref's responsibility. We didnt manage once again to finish matches strong against a non existent opposition (compared to the Lazio of old) Its not as if this is the same ref in every match that we drew in after getting the lead...

There is something else that is the problem and we keep on doing it several times...Mancio needs to put a stop to this immediately.

I'm tired of this commenting after every game (a draw) so I do it shortly. Jake is right, Veron is no good. He's not an improvement to our game. Let Emre, Karagounis, Stankovic, Cambiasso and Cristiano take the midfield. Let's see what happens in next game when we "have to" play without Seba.

My ratings:

Fontana 6.5

Ze Maria 5.5
J.Zanetti 7
Cordoba 6.5
Mihahlovic 5.5

Cambiasso 6
Veron 5.5
Emre 6
Davids 6

Cruz 5.5
Adriano 6.5 (the goal)

Obvious but wise words from Veron on Inter.it:

VERON: "IT'S ONLY OUR FAULT"
Saturday, 30 October 2004 23:50:33
MILAN - "There's no use blaming others. Unfortunately at certain times we lack concentration, and lately we have been punctually punished for these moments," admitted Juan Sebastian Veron after the Serie A Week 9 draw with Lazio .

"There can be some matches in which you play below par; unfortunately today we took the lead and didn't manage to keep it. The referee? There's no point hiding behind the referee's mistakes. We're playing well, we're always scoring and we almost always have the matches in our own hands. We must try not to let them slip away."

I completely agree apart from Recoba who deserves a 7.

my conclusions:

- J.Zanetti should start always.
- Davids deserves to play more often, with him and Cambiasso our midfield had more stability and possesion, which even if we didn't win, it's important.
- Miha wasn't that bad, but Cordoba and Burdisso is our best partnership there.
- Can't wait for Gamarra to return, if not for starter (which I would love to see), at least to have a good backup.
- Recoba or Martins should have start instead of Cruz, Recoba played good.
- Emre fought hard, but he's not on his best form, so our mid should be Cambiasso-Davids-Veron-Stankovic (and VDM as supersub).

NOT MANCINI'S FAULT

Our defensive problems are not Mancini's fault, cause they (defenders), should be able to manage 2 or 3 attacks from the other team in a WHOLE GAME.

Veron?? You must be kidding.

How about this one:

Karagounis-Cambiasso-CZ-Stankovic

We have two matches with Juventus. That means 6 posible points... also Juve has 2 games with Milan - one win and one loss maybe, no one knows.
But we must win both games against Gobbi...

6 points + Juve loosing one game against Milan is 9 points...
we still have hope, it's not so bleak as it seams.

Suport Inter, forza Mancio forza Inter :fero:

Probably try Karagounis is a good idea, but I still like Veron; concentrated, his passes are lethal.

I prefer Davids over Cristiano, but either way is the same idea for a stable mid.

If we use that midfield Capitano has to start. We need width, either VDM or Ze Maria will be able to do it.

Last three games of Veron have just being a disapointment. I have not seing this one but I saw him against Lecce and :yuck: .

Maybe him missing out is a blessing? I hope Mancio realises that Veron is just not the same as before. He must be included in player rotation!!!!

They are utter shit. He loses ball too much and he should be our playmaker. He's no good. The passes are truly lethal, for killing the interest of watching Inter's games.
