Probably try Karagounis is a good idea, but I still like Veron; concentrated, his passes are lethal.

They are utter shit. He loses ball too much and he should be our playmaker. He's no good. The passes are truly lethal, for killing the interest of watching Inter's games.

Verons passes lately just find the opponent and places the team in great difficulties. Exposing our defence often.

That was def. a bad day. Apart from the talk that we are a cursed team, we did some mistakes today:
1. We never finished off our chances
2. Mancio should learn from Capello and should have brought in someone like C. Zanetti(even though I HATE HIM) for Cruz after 30 mins in the 2nd half to cover back incase of any counter attacks.
3. I dont like Mancio always blaming the players, he should blame himself.
4. Veron didnt suck as people here mentioned, I thought he sucked against Milan and Lecce but certainly was better tonight.
5. Cordoba = 3 and Cambiasso = 6

Finally, I miss Cuper. :depress:

Nice from miha

I agree lately Veron has been performing bad. But rest him for a week and im sure he'll come back strong like he was in the earlier part of the season.

Its just unfair when someone has played a couple of games under-par and they're all ready getting trashed. Veron was so helpful for us in qualifying for the CL, and other games. He really was linking the mid to the strikers very well. Just from a few performances people say we should release him already?

Some people saying the same about Davids, his getting better with each game and im sure many teams out there would like to have this player on their team. We gota have more faith in the players.

I really feel for Mancio he did everything right, i feel for recoba too. But in the end i know this wont be our season, we've always needed more time but the thing that scares me is, if this season doesnt go right for us, will Moratti let Mancio continue for a few seasons...

Who said Wenger didnt do anything with Arsenal when he first joined??? The 97/98 double winners team was 10 times better than the current one and what's sad is that the players at Mancio's disposal is 200 times better than the ones ever been with Wenger.

Sherif, does your last post indicate that you want Mancini out? Well, considering that you're a Man Utd fan, you'd know best that it's best to stick with the coach for few years before sacking him. I'm quite sure Sir Alex didn't win anything in his first few years at the club.

About the game, it was the most boring I have watched all season long. We didn't really dominate Lazio, but Lazio just bend over for us. I am seriously frustrated by Mancini's preference to play his mates over better players. I am of course talking about Miha, Favalli and Veron here. Miha was actually very solid for the first 80 minutes and even assisted Adriano's goal. However, his last 10 minutes were disastrous. Favalli is crap, yet again and Mancini should realise by now that Javier Zanetti getting tired is simply a MYTH. He doesn't need rest, not now, not ever. I have simply lost it all when it comes to Mancini benching Il Capitano. He performed solidly against Milan and Lecce, showed, obviously, no sign of fatigue yet he still sit on the bench. Veron? Don't even get me started on him.

The rest of the players didn't perform to well either. Davids was OK but Emre didn't penetrate the Lazio defence enough and didn't create enough chances. He could rely on the defense that Lazio was playing 10 men behind the ball. Cruz is one of the worst striker I have ever seen in an Inter shirt. Hard-working? Simply not. He doesn't move in to goal-scoring positions, which resulted in him not getting any chances. He even acted like an @ss when Mancio subbed him. What's worst of all was that Mancio played him central. :wallbang: Adriano was poor tonight by his standard. But clearly he was too tired after being used for almost every minute of our matches. He still managed to get a very good goal though. Played a Vieri-of-the-02/03 match last night.

I'm very disappointed with the draw. Mancini is a good coach but he has to be realistic and not be so biased towards his former team-mates. Defence shouldn't be too naive. I'm too tired to say anything more.

is someone really saying that Cruz partnered him better than Vieri.
Let's give Cruz to play the same number games that Vieri played with Adriano and then we can talk about it.Then you could realize probably the weakness Vieri toogether with Adriano.

Why dont we ship them off to play club football in nigeria

Not a good result, but geez were still getting there, our problem is finishing off matches. most of the time we can finish it, i.e Udine and Valencia, the others were struggling.

I think miha deserves some credit, and showed he isnt as bad as some said, yes he was there on tha free kick, but he gave us alot in other departments.

For once we finally had good crosses coming in, and god we gave em alot of trouble on them.

I was so disapointed this morning (it was 3:20 in the morning when the match ended)...

a tie actually is a fair result, even though a win is within our grab....
our player didnt play passionately until the lazio equalized...

I think mancio should consider field karagounis, this guy is a fighter and veron as well as stankovic need rest...

adriano also needs some rest to keep his peak..., playing game every three days will exhaust a player phisically and also mentally,.. It's very difficult to play top match everytime like that....

if mancini dares to bench toldo, he should also dare to bench veron, and rest adriano...

I respect veron and I want him to play as much as he can, I just want him to get more rest, that's all...

and talking about changin coach at this point is pointless..., we just keep our story repeating itself... who's gonna be our next coach ? cuper ? zac ? we tried them already...

wenger is the best coach in the world, IMO... but I dont think he could lift inter to scudetto in the 1st season...., and he might be sacked as well by our management... our demand and pressure to our coach is just so high...

let's renew our faith to mancio, and keep this guy at least for another two seasons, he should reign here longer than cuper... give him more air to breath...

mancio should really field karagounis, he's basically the only fit player who hasnt played any single game..

did you see the match ?
I dont think those two guys u swear on are that bad...
the whole team need some attitude to win the game...
mancio didnt rotate the team well, mentally they look exhausted..

I'm merely saying it, because so many thought Vieri is the crappiest crap ever with Adriano. Now Cruz was even worse. Let's give him more chances if out first choices are unavailable, unless they're fit, Cruz can sit on the bench.

vieri - adriano looks fine in my eyes...
when they play together, adriano has less chances, but overall inter has more chances....

vieri missed many chances but as soon as he's fit, he could score more.

Do the research?? Fabio, tell me where exactly did I say Wenger won in his 1st season incharge?

Han, I didnt say sack Mancini, on the contrary I am supporting the guy like I did with other managers, I was just commenting on Wenger here.

There is also another thing I want to comment on. Many ppl here were bashing Davids last night. That's weird, I guess I must stop watching football last night because I thought he was "BY FAR" our best player.

Thats what I'm trying to say!

Arsene Wenger didn't win anything in his first season but then from the 2nd season - he did,so I wouldn't mind something like that!

wel, yeah, many peple may hate davids since he was a juve player..

but he;s with us now, and he fight like hell, and he's really not bad...

we have many players which becomes and once became the backbone of other teams....

stankovic was carrying lazio before he came to inter, he was a leader there. So was Veron... Cordoba was columbia's captain.. Davids brought up barca from diffculties...

I say we need to respect our players more...

Too early to draw any conclusions. I expected us to do worse overall. And our play is great. We need to polish the details of our play and we´re good. And please, no injury hell now!!!

Here’s my rating for the game:

Fontana – 6.5. Didn’t had to do that much at all, but did make a good save once when he had to)

Ze Maria – 6.5 He played quite well. Good crosses.

Favalli – 6.0. Just played for around 25 minutes, then J.Zanetti came in. I am hopeful that we would play J.Zanetti in the left back till Coco makes his come back. I was happy with J.Zanetti in the left back.

Mihajlovic – 6.5. He was indeed playing very well, but may be Lazio’s defending game helped him as well. Finally, we had a player who could take good corners (instead of Veron) and good long balls came from the back, thx to Miha (made assist for the goal as well) !! Sadly, he was too bad in the last minutes, starting from the goal we conceded !!

Cordoba – 7.0 He did have a good game and he showed his pace, defending well.

Veron – 5.0 I am getting pissed of him. He did play quite good in 2nd half, but he just makes our attack slow. Good that he’s out of Fiorentina game, atleast we can know how Inter performs without him.

Davids – 6.5 Not a good first half, but he really played a good match in the 2nd half and I am hopeful that he would continue like that when he gets to play.

Emre – 6.5 He was quite good, but he can do much better.

Adriano – 7.0 Yet another goal, but he seemed tired in the 1st half.

Cruz – 5.0 He had his chance, but sadly couldn’t take it.

Recoba – 6.0 Didn’t get to play that much, but I was happy with his short but good performance. Came close to scoring TWICE, after we conceded the equaliser !!

J.Zanetti – 6.5 Not the old J.Zanetti, but I would be happy with J.Zanetti in the left back rather than Favalli or Pasquale. That way, Ze Maria will also be able to play.

Stankovic – Didn’t notice him that much.

:) :star:
