3 games in a row for Eriksen? Nah Conte dont thinks so

He was on the pitch for about ten minutes against Milan, so really it would be two games in a row :einstein:

Good thing about Coppa games this season is they are as entertaining as league games because both are played without fans anyway.

Why not? If Conte still is not convinced with Eriksen yet, or want to test the setup with harder opposition, a coppa game against a worthy opponent, would in my opinion, be the best testing place?!

Following those very unwelcome early rumours that Kolarov would start over Bastoni, I'm glad to see the more recent predictions all suggest Conte will play his absolute strongest side against juve tonight (minus the suspended Lukaku and Hakimi of course).

The match being against juventus surpasses whether it's a cup or league game. While the recent Coppa victory at the Franchi was our first win in 7 visits, I would still prefer Conte rotate for the match against Fiorentina and go all out against juventus.

Not only are Fiorentina completely shit, they'll also be missing Castrovilli and Milenkovic against us. Just like the derby last week, these Coppa matches against title rivals also play a big role in getting a psychological edge for the league race. Even if beating juve tonight gains us no points of course, it's a huge mental boost for the team.

Not to exaggerate, but this February could be hugely influential for the rest of the season.. We have the Coppa Italia semi finals against our most hated opponent and reigning champions we're trying to dethrone. Whoever wins this 2-legged tie will have the mental edge heading into the derby on the penultimate day of the season.

And of course, we have two 6-pointers against Lazio and Milan in particular. Can't overstate how testing this next run of 5 games will be.

Hope Conte is not stupid enough to start Kolarov.

As much as I hate Juventus and everything they stand for, if I have a choice between winning either this game or the one on Friday against Fiorentina, I would prefer to win the Fiorentina game. Coz the ultimate joy will be winning the Scudetto over Juventus, that is the only objective that means something this season.

So I have no problems if we rotate some players tonight, and I am actually glad that Lukaku and Hakimi are getting some forced rest.

Inb4 some smartass comment, it goes without saying that we should try and win both the games.

Wrong attitude. There shouldn't be this alternative in anyone's mind that it's either win in this match or win in Fiorentina match. The only idea and attitude should be win in both matches.

It's not like we need to save our players for the future. After this and next week, it's going to be 1 match per week for Inter for months.

But we don't, that's the problem, and we still have to play the match and being eliminated by Rube in the Coppa could be have ramifications in the Serie A because these things don't happen in a vacuum and as Universe said it could have a negative psychological impact.

It's also just three matches to win it now, so we may as well go for it, and we should easily defeat Fiorentina so the only real possible impact is Lazio match but we can throw everything at it for that match because after that match there is only one game per week for three weeks since we're no longer in Europe.

Just like last year was an obligation to win the Europa League since we were the strongest team by far, there is no excuses for not winning both the Scudetto and the Coppa this season.

We have clearly a better squad than any team bar Rube and honestly we're easily on par with them, and they have a newbie coach and has been struggling with injuries quite a bit, while we have by far the highest paid coach (he's paid the same as the next SEVEN highest paid coaches COMBINED) whom is supposedly one of the best in the world, if we fail to win both competitions we're still in after the massive failure in the CL then this would an unprecedented catastrophic debacle.

THERE ARE NO EXCUSES.

I actually don't care much about the result of this game, Juve will probably beat us and that is ok.
It's not ok at all.Cunte better brings us Scudetto and Coppa if he want to make people forgive that epic disgrace from CL.

No excuses.

Does anyone have any idea if the match will be streamed live on YouTube like the past Coppa matches?

Draw would be great they will do their best to revenge cause that loss recently. They have stronger roster than us, its ridiculous that some people here think that we have stronger squad. Hope they underperform again.

we absolutely drew the short stick with having to play against Juve thrice in this short amount of time, but here it is and we have to perform
