Stripes are easy to change. Width, depth, shade, pattern, tone. It isn't neccessarily a design as much as it is a template.

St. George's Cross is a design, used many times. There's not a lot you can do with a design that is on the city's flag and is a well-known design

I believe the cross is in inverted colours, meaning it won't stand out as much as the one designed above. More like England away.

Edit: alright i take it back after seeing previous posts. It does stand out which many people on here wanted it to be.

Must say I agree, it is very nice looking and something different from the generic third shirt shit Nike produce year in year out! However I would probably not go as far as to try and attempt to inseminate it. Having it on my body is pretty close anyway, that SHOULD suffice, but who knows??

You're right, but the rumours explicitly pointed out that the Pirelli logo will be placed on the other side this time and it actually makes a bit more sense for me - sponsors on one side, the club on the other and clutter free.
