I'm on holiday for 6 weeks starting saturday, so if you want stuff translated I'll have more time for it. Just post it in the translation thread.

This has been the problem with the English site for like four years now. I simply fail to comprehend their lack of planning. Obiously there's not just one person who do all the translations, they have more than one. So you'd think that they would have at least ONE guy during the summers as well who can take over. But instead they send everyone on vacation at the same time.

And we never get used to it, do we? I am as frustrated this year even if I knew it was coming.

You mean, when they published rumours? That was horrendous! I'm glad they never do that anymore.

Whats even more frustrating is the fact that the spanish version is uptodate so it's only the english version which doesn't have these interviews.

They should let FI control the English version. We have everything here, translators ( for many languages ), rumors, multimedia and so on.

And on holidays, we work more. :p

You gotta be kidding me, that's not the kind of thing they'd give to some nobody on the net. They'd get someone qualified.

Translating is not nearly as easy as most people think anyway.

There are lots of expressions/words that cannot be translated. When you translate you always put a bit of yourself in the text, it's about understanding the concept and put it down in the most similar/appropriate way possible to respect the original.

I've studied Latin and ancient Greek in high school so I know my shit about all this :D
