Not a defeatist, but with this Conte shit currently happening, looks like our season is already over.

Anyway, if Madonna or Conte is leading this team, FORZA INTER! Players should do it for themselves, club and for the fans.

On the other hand I wish Man Utd gets knocked out asap. Give me Roma in the final.

hmm. Inter loves to give insufferable fans something to gloat about. See our capitulation at the hands of Barca U15 in our own backyard. What should've been us rising to the (humble) occasion and beating Barca's youth team to secure our CL knockouts instead turned into a humiliation. We gave Barca's insufferable fans yet another excuse to be annoying. Our triumph became theirs. The story became about that little twerp Ansu Fati instead, and for the next week all I saw on social media was OMG ANSU FATI YOUNGEST EVER CL GOALSCORER FUTURE LEGEND ALENA PUIG SEMEDO WORLD CLASS OMG. Insufferable. I blame that entirely on us. And who is just as insufferable as Barca and their fans, if not more? That's right, Man Utd and their fans. If we play in Man Utd in the final, I unequivocally expect a masterclass from Rashford raping us on the flanks (as any semi-fast player does) and for the insufferable footballing media to lavish praise on England's young star and their bright future and Ole's at the wheel and all kinds of insufferable shit. No thank you. I'll take Basel or LASK.

I think it will be Lingard who would cap off this troll season.

No worries whoever it will be we'll just buy him a few years later, when he's past it.

English referee for the game.
Considering Getafe's style of play, this definitely goes to their advantage.

Or is their playing style about wasting time with going down in every touch etc.?

Last time I watched them I didn’t have that impression.
Very physical, yes. Considering English referees allow some aggressiveness to a degree, therefore i said advantage Getafe in that regard.

We are a quite physical team, if we're being honest. LM10, lukaku, barella, brozo, young, dumbo, deV, godin, bastoni, skriniar....I mean. Everybody plays very physical. Really, it's only borja and eriksen who aren't very physical.

Having in mind recent events I have zero expectations from this game and our ambitions in EL overall.

Except if players are really on Conte's side in this whole conflict and they feel like he stood up for them with his statement. That might be the only positive outcome.

But yeah, personally, 0 expectations.

Pazza Inter vs a thuggish lot from Spain, this is going to be brutal to watch I'm afraid. Inter should win, say 2-1, better stock up on the booze and smokes for this one. Forza Inter. :interflag:

We aren’t exactly a soft team either (unless Eriksens playing)

Lautaro is going to have to stay in his feet though

Edit: n4l already beat me to it

Given our recent form i expect us to win comfortably,
Unless barella/lautaro get a red card
Which is highly possible

Lautaro goes down faster than a Thai hooker. Virtually all aspects of his game can and will be improved, except that one. He simply has a very high center of gravity for a relatively short guy.

I got the same impression about their physicality from a friend of mine who follows La Liga closely. He even compared their coach style to Simeone.

No no no. We can't compare these shitheads to Atletico. I've watched them very closely when they played Ajax. There are bitches, whiners and divers. Every contact they will go down as they have been shot. Every duel they will try and get a free kick. They will waste time the minute they take the lead, even if this mean they have to waist time for 70 minutes. They are cunts and I hope we will trash them.

Football wise they are not strong, so we should win this. Italians know how to deal with these kind of teams a lot better then Ajax.

So they are aggressive mofos, we should keep our more injury prone players out of it. 2 of their players have 30 yellow cards combined... Crazy

Getafe's styleplay is awful, but after Covid they regressed a lot. Yes, they dive a lot and they are whinning, but apparently without crowd it is not so effective, because there are no fans who press the referee. It can be a reason that they've lost a lot of points after the restart.
But generally I don't expect Italian teams to rock European cups. We've finished season just 3 days ago while Spaniard and German teams had much more time for rest, let alone French teams. I wish Atalanta success against PSG, but I think fresh and quick PSG players will demolish their defence.
I think we can expect a lot of surprises and unexpected results in coming weeks.
